I am still a few months away from delivery but so far I love this crib. It took my hubby and his dad an hour or so to put together. Not long at all. And it was pretty easy for them. It hasn't really chippd yet like others say but it does look like it could easily. The drawer at the bottom seems a little odd but works so far. I don't have a problem at all with it. It looks VERY NICE! I love it. Plus the side bar that drops is SOOO easy to use. I love this crib and would say go ahead buy it!
This is a very beautiful crib, an excellant value, it was easy to put together, the drawer slides out easily and the rail goes down without difficulty.
PERFECT..... JUST WHAT I WANTED!! VERY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER! IT TOOK MY HUSBAND LESS THEN AN HOUR. BOTTOM DRAWER WORKS GREAT! NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER! DEF A GREAT BUY!!!! I ALSO BOUGHT THE ASPEN CHANGING TABLE AND ASPEN 5 DRAWER DRESSER ALL MATCHES PERFECTLY!
I am so glad I purchased this crib! Its so much nicer in person than in the picture! Even though some of the parts weren't labeled, it was easy to put together (my husband and I had it done in less than 2 hrs) and I'm so pleased with how sturdy the crib is! I know our son is going to enjoy his crib once he arrives!
My husband is a construction forman, so it was easier to put together than for someone who may not be in construction. He sais that he was lucky.... so, for those of you who are not the "building type".. plan on taking some hours out to put this together. I love this crib though. It's beautiful and VERY sturdy. The only problem with it is the wood scrathes and indents easily.
The product turned out very NICE and the assembly of it wasn't hard either. I definately would recommend this product and can't wait to start letting my son sleep in his bed.
My husband and I got this crib about a month before our daughter was born and we love it! It goes great in the nursery and looks very classy without being overly "baby". I wanted something that would grow with her and this will! Even though I can agree that the crib bumpers don't tie at the sides, AND you can only put a mobile or other crib toys on the sliding rail, this crib is extremely nice! For the crib skirt, I made my own out of a matching flat sheet and used sticky velcro along the front bottom to attach it. Looks VERY nice! the drawer stores all extra sheets, mattress pads, and a few lighter blankets. All in all, this crib will last us many years and I don't feel like it will look babyish when she gets older!
This is the only review that you will need for this crib. 1) There were a few scratches but they were minor. Not enough that I would return the crib for afterall my soon to be toddler will surely add many more. 2) All of the directions are clear and they are all included. (and I at 5'4" 125lbs assembled by myself in less than 2 hours) a) There are two bags with pieces (nuts, screws, etc.) in them. Find the one labeled pre-assembly headboard and footboard and complete that. b) The second bag has the nuts and bolts for the drawer. Do the second to last step (put the drawer rails on the headboard and footboard) c) Complete the rest of the directions located on the mattress board. And voila! You have a perfectly sturdy crib complete with all the parts to make it a daybed or full headboard/footboard. Oh yeah P.S. You can't really properly tie on the bumper pads with this bed... be prepared to improvise.
Like others have said has many scratches on wood. Material is cheap and everything doesnt fit to a T. The crib doesnt even seem sturdy. Dont expect much from this crib. Baby gave it a thumbs down.
this is the worst designed crib I have ever seen. the board that is supposed to support the matress sags and the bottom of the drawer under the matress falls out. My crib is a year old, but my daughter has only been sleeping in it for a few months. The mattress support sagged right from day one.
