Assassin's Creed: Lineage (DVD)

I have never played Assassins Creed but my friends always suggest it to me. While watching it by itself, it has great acting, awesome stunts, and events that were somewhat easy to follow. If you're a fan of the franchise, you'll like it. If you're like me, you might not fully understand it. Now I'm gonna go pick up the games because this movie was very enjoyable!

Great for a short period, but it's a short period

I saw it on the shelf for a few bucks, and I love the Ezio trilogy so I bought it. I read the description on the back, plus the title was "Lineage", so I thought it would be a good film maybe about how his father became an Assassin and some of his adventures all leading up to the beginning of Assassin's Creed II. I was right only with the last part. It was great in the style of fighting and general character movements and such much like the games. And then the games were made with characters that looked just like the actors/actresses (or visa versa, although I think the first way would be easier). I enjoyed it very much. I was disappointed however that it lasted only half an hour. The cover says "2.5 hours including extras", I didn't expect that to mean 0.5 hours of feature. It might have costed them much more money, but they could've pulled off a successful box office on a real film. This would have only been great if it was included in the game.

Assassins creed

Good story just not long enough my son was excited about this movie since he plays the game but bummed that it was only 20 min long not worth it
