I was skeptical due to other reviews on this product, but after buying and installing as my first security system, i am very happy with it. I have had no problems with interference from other devices, the distance is great for what using it for, and the night vision is great. The only thing i would ask for is a way to view multiple cameras at onces on a split screen, and a zoom feature, but for the money i am very happy!
I have just purchased a set of these for a gift. We have had ours 2 years. They are so clear in day or night. They are easy to set up and stopped a break in at our home last summer. It is a must have you can hook them up to a tv/vcr or a dvd recorder if you are leaving or just watch it on t.v. to monitor if you are home. Love it Would not be without it.
The cameras were easy to install. The pictures were pretty clear but the color wasn't that great. Also there was sporadic static but it could be adjusted out of the picture. Overall they met our expectations for added security around our house.
I purchased this unit to secure my home after a neighbor as threatening . The unit works it's a relatively easy hookup too. The only complaint is with the night vision being grainy and the automated switching between the to cameras is kind of manic. But other than that, the unit does the job for the least amount of money. And wireless is a key reason why I bought it. No wiring etc.
This product works well fot the use I put it to, good picture and transmits through walls very well. Negatives are the cameras are hard wired to channels 1 and 4, so if there is interference on a channel you can't change it and the vertical movement of the camera can't be locked into position so it may have to be wedged after a period of time, (I've had this brand of camera before that's why I know what can happen.)
Bought this after someone broke into my house, have a camera in the back and one in the front and they are great. The camera in the front can have some static at times but it still gets a good view. Good quality for the money and picture is crisp.
Pros: Very easy to install, good range, excellent image quality, nice night vision Cons:The power cable for cameras should be long, there are horizontal lines contnuously running on the monitor....changed Tvs ,,,,still there, may be the one i bought is defective.
The picture is really good when the camera is close go the box antenna Interference from routers and tv antennas distort the picture. Not have an power outlet near where you place the cameras becomes very inconvenient. Otherwise I think its a great buy for the price.
This has got to be the absolute worst product I have ever bought at wal mart! I worked at least 5 hrs on this thing and could not get color or the horozonal lines out of it. finally I just gave up and took on the task of trying to get it back in the package for the trip back to wal mart.also I do not like the tech support where you have to e:mail a problem and wait for an e:mail back from them.
My grandparents bought this set to monitor their driveway during the day as well as at night. So I, being the electronics grandkid volunteered to set them up. While the cameras DO have a great picture... that's only when they work. They're easy enough to take apart. Unscrewing the cap and four screws later and you can easily 're-mount' the actual camera upside down for inverted mounting... However after doing so to both of the units, One of them stopped working. Nothing was damaged and reversing the change doesn't help. There's no where to find help because the 'EMatic' brand doesn't even advertise their wireless cameras on their website. Nor can you, easily, find how and where to order additional cameras to fill spots 2 & 3 on the receiver. Over all VERY dissatisfied and disappointed.
