Works very well. Pleased with item and its capability.
This was a great bargain for our home security needs - easy to install and affective, price is affordable.
sound could be better and picture is real good. area seen could be a wider area.the price is real good and the size is small enouth to hide.
It's a good product with reasonable price and great value.
I'm planning on using this for my ghost investigations so I haven't had the chance to test it in the field but did test in my own home. It did very well from one end of the house to the other and even upstairs. The only drawback is the main unit cannot be near wireless routers, it will interfere with the picture. Can't say how bad the interference will be on wireless phones as of yet. Also, though the battery is for testing only it does work well and for my purposes that is an added plus as I can easily move it from room to room without dealing with cords.
This product works fine, only one thing is the receiver becomes very hot. I recommend this product, the only thing keep receiver close to the Camera.
It works, about 80 dollars worth! Works well when the camera is in the same room as the reciever...And for true, it actually solved "MY" problem of having to sit in our driveway, morning and afternoon, waiting for my grandson's school bus to show up. (40min.'s +/-) AND even though it's well over 100yds. from our drive, to the end of our street, where his bus stops... I can easily see that it has arrived! My main complaint about this product is that when seperated, the picture on the monitor is unstable, and I've tried everthing to cure it with no luck! Forget outdoors! I knew I needed to buy a better unit...I just couldn't afford to!
8/23/08 - At this time, it is difficult for me to give an honest review on this product. I have not had the opportunity to review the image on my TV/VCR because I received a defected camera. Yesterday 8/22/08, after speaking with Astak Tech is when I found out the the camera wasn't work. I had to spend $11.21 to ship the camera back to Astak. That cost should not have been my burden. Astak should make sure that all of their products are properly working before shipping it out to the customer. Astak will receive the defect camera next Friday of next week. There is no telling how soon I will receive another camera back. I am highly disappointed that I would receive a product that is defect before I could even use it.
The product works off 2.4ghz signal and anything that runs off that frequency in your house will distort the picture and sound. On top of that the range is terrible. Dont throw your money away like I did on this product.
EASY HOOKUP BUT POOR PICTURE AND VERY BAD AUDIO ONLY 25 FEET AWAY. ITS GOING BACK!
