I have one of these, though not from Wal-Mart. It will take up to 32GB sd cards, never mind what the stats say. The only time it gets hard to read is when it's around freezing. I currently have about 1900 books/knitting patterns on mine and I wouldn't part with it for anything.

Good but...

I bought this for my husband and it is a really nice little gadget--very nice display, very readable. It says it comes with 200 free books. When you get it, it says 100 free books and 100 free titles (whatever that means) and on the SD card it says 300 free books. Very confusing. My husband could barely find 100 books on the reader. Another negative is that it is very VERY slow. It does this weird flashing thing when you turn the page or scroll for books. But, hey, my husband loves it so I guess its not all bad! 4 stars

Google BeBook... there you have it. This is an American clone of that product. Not that it's bad... just costs more. 50 dollars more but without the leather case.

The product was all it was advertised to be! It was a Christmas gift for my husband who was home from his job overseas. I did my research & knew he wouldn't want to deal w/ a subscription service nor would a wireless download service work for him (his DSL is often slow). This allows him to download via his PC & a definite plus was that it supports multiple formats. We have not yet tried to retrieve the other 180 "free" books due to travel & time constraints, so we hope that process goes smoothly.

They need better formats, more concise directions, more font sizes. I love reading on it, I like the way it turns pages and goes back to the last page read. Great tool for a handicapped person, easy to carry and good accessories.
