[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved how clear astro gaming head set is you can even hear the pin drop noise , the voice quality is absolutely incredible, then comes the second best quality which really impressed me, its quiet strong and lightweight and at the same time really soft and padded, you can keep it on for a long time without being bothered because of how comfortable it is, you can use these headsets for phone, pc, xbox, and can extend your gaming sessions with this headset, it also comes with flip up mute function which comes in very handy and very unique, they also have inlin volume control which gives you the control of your audio to let you have the best possible use of your headphones
I have to say wow. These are some of the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn. And I have a fairly big noggin so sometimes things don't fit me. The headphones also do an amazing job (due to the plush padding) of keeping OUT outside sounds. Let's cut to the chase: Sound quality is excellent and the pickup on the microphone is super accurate. Gotta say I just love them. All around just an excellent product.
Great sound great durability great microphone nice long cord, but not for me .they light up they're big and bulky I'm just not into gigantic headphones with a cord. I'm more of a Bluetooth lightweight headphone kind of guy ,but that doesn't mean that these aren't great headphones that just means that they're not my taste.
The headphones are great! The sound quality is really good. I read a review that said they were tight, but they fit me and are very comfortable. Although if you do have a larger head I could see that possibly being a problem. The bass is good, if you like a lot of bass and listen to music a lot like I do it's great! When I have them on it blocks out a lot of sound almost all sound when the music isn't even all the way up. I really like the detachable 3.5mm cord, that way if it gets damaged I can replace it without having to buy new headphones. Listening to movies and music is really nice with these because the sounds so full and rich. They are heavy enough that they feel expensive but not so heavy you would worry about fatigue. As a matter of fact I have wore these many hours and not had a problem. It includes an adapter for a PC that way if you have a headphone and a mic port you can still use them and then switch over to your controller by removing the adapter and go in to a single port. I would buy these again and as a gift to impress a friend or family member.
I've always been a fan of Logitech and when I got the Astro A10, I liked that it says it's compatible with PC / MAC / XBOX One / Playstation 4 / and Mobile. That's just awesome. The set is packaged nice (I got the Grey and Red set) and comes with an instruction manual, the 3.5mm connector cable as well as a splitter for systems that use both the green and pink connections. The wired cable has a volume control knob on it so you can adjust volume quickly without having to open your volume controls on your PC or gaming system. It functions just as it should. I used the headphones on my Dual Xeon powered (12 core / 24 thread) system with 32GB RAM and twin 24 inch monitors and love how you simply raise the microphone to mute and lower it to unmute. No buttons or knobs, just lift it and Bam, it's muted. The sound quality is awesome and the headphones are nice and comfortable. There's a good amount of cushion on them. They're adjustable for different head sizes too. I actually like these so much that I know I'll be using these for more than just gaming. I've attached a couple of pictures so you can see all that comes with it and how it's packaged. If you're a gamer, I think you'd be hard pressed to get a better set, and everyone knows how long Logitech has been making stuff like this and speakers and mice and more for PC's, so they already have a great reputation.
I have been testing these headphones for three weeks now because I wanted to give the most accurate review I could andI must say they have by far exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is great!!! I would have guessed that these were much more expensive than they are. These headphones are great quality with good bass and treble The microphone works great too, everyone I talk to says they hear me crystal clear. These headphones are very comfortable, I could wear them all day and never get compression strain or headaches. They are complete with PC and X box, plus other game consoles. The way they fit over the ear blocked out outside noises. I highly recommend these Astro A10 headphones to anyone looking for great quality headphones at a great price.
These are nice gaming headphones I'm using with my Dell XPS laptop. Since they are not Bluetooth, but wired, they are light for long gaming hours and I like the cushion on the top of the headphones where it sits on the top of your head. At least for me, after wearing headphones for a while it's usually the top of my head that gets sore as the weight (even light ones) of the headphones pushes down on the top of your head. While it's a small touch the cushion on the top piece that rest against the top of your head helps during long wearing times. Sound is good for gaming and I certainly felt immersed in the game place. Microphone works great, others said they could hear me fine and I confirmed that by using Audacity to record my phone and found the quality of the recordings very good. A nice touch is if you lift the microphone up, the headphones auto mute's the microphone...good if you're staying in a game but need to talk someone in the physical room with you. The ear pieces on the headphones float a bit up/down so you can get a good fit on your ears and the extension to fit you head to the ear phones are good...about 3” of adjustment up/down on each ear piece. One thing I didn't like is they do let quite a bit of external sound in. For example, if you or someone in your house has the TV playing in the same room you're gaming in, you will hear the TV on low volumes. To enjoy these, you probably want to be in a quiet room otherwise outside noise might interfere with the sound. Another thing is you can only use the microphone on the left side of your head...other headphones I've used in the past allow the microphone to fully rotate either forward or backwards, so you flip have the microphone on your left or right side...not a big issue, but something to be aware if you prefer the microphone on the right side.
Note: make sure you push the aux cord into the headset all the way, as it can be a bit stubborn. I thought the headset was terrible at first, but I realized I had not pushed the cord in all the way. This headset is decent, depending on what else you have. I have a pair of nicer headphones (without a mic) that I had been using daily. While I still prefer to use my other headphones most of the time, this headset is great for when I need to use a mic. Overall, I found the headset fairly comfortable. The negatives are that there is not much padding along the band that sits against the top of my head, they are a bit heavy (.75 lbs, which is 50% more than I'm used to), and sometimes they seem a bit tight on the sides of my head. However, I wear glasses and have not had an issue with my glasses hurting. Sound quality was good enough, and the mic worked well. The flip-to-mute is convenient, although you have to make sure the mic is all the way vertical. My biggest gripe is that the aux cord has a rubbery, grippy texture, which causes it to get “caught” on my chair or desk due to friction. Also, some sort of clip on the cord to attach it to your clothing would be nice. However, I've been using wireless headphones for the last year, so maybe I'm just spoiled now.
The ASTRO A10 Headset is lightweight and durable. This Headset is made to be solid and durable, yet it is light. The audio cord is made of strong material, but is also flexible. The headset fits comfortably. The speakers are snug and comfortable, with good noise cancelling so you can focus on your game and conversations with your opponents. The sound is not great, but it is functional, without any need for more volume or sound adjustments. The sound is clear and it's easy to hear the games, and hear your opponents speaking at the same time. The microphone can be turned and moved upward, out of the way when not needed. The mic is powerful, with good clear vocal pick up. I was able to test it with a friend, to hear for myself, the quality of the microphone. It was so easy to hook the headset up to both my PC and then the game system. It came with very easy to follow instructions, with easy to follow pictures. It comes with dual connectors for alternate hookups. I would recommend this gaming headset to anyone who is at the beginner or entry level of gaming. I would recommend it as an extra headset to take with me away from home. It's a winner as a gift Idea.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these a little while ago after my old ones finally died and really pleased that I did. With multiple colours to choose from it was really easy to match them to my rig and aesthetically I think they look really smart. The sound quality is fantastic and having volume control on the cable is a really nice feature. My only slight reservation is I would have liked them to have a sprung headband as after extended use they can feel quite heavy in the middle of your head. Overal really pleased!
