Iâm so glad I got this when it was in stock! It was off the radar and sold out everywhere else or the price was jacked up. Iâve had it for 2 weeks now and itâs amazing! Best budget monitor for G-Sync with 144hz refresh rate my games look crisp and clean! No tearing and no dead pixels! All other budget monitors with the same specs were coming up with dead pixels except this one, which I image why it was sold out everywhere else I looked. I also needed this monitor for working on my portfolio for Environment Design for games, I needed to be able to see my work clean and not go with a cheap monitor. So for game design this is the perfect budget monitor too
Bought this for my husband. Here's his review I bought a dell S2421HGF TN panel prior to getting this. The dell was horrible, washed out colors etc. Finally returned that and got this. The impression after finally turning on the power on this was wow, this is what it should be. Pros: 1. Presets are usable. Not perfect but great baseline and tweak as needed 2. Easy setup. 90 degree screen tilt allows for easy access to ports. 3. Haven't seen backlight bleed. 4. Picture quality and color is great 5. gsync seems to turn on as advertised but haven't really tested this fully. Time will tell Cons: 1. Speakers sound horrible. Won't be using this for sure. Did get this for the speakers. In fact I didnt even realize there was one until wife told me there was one so no big deal for me. Overall glad I returned that dell and went with this. Difference was night and day for only around 50$ more.
I had done a lot of reading and research trying to figure out which 144hz monitor would be the best bang for my buck. While I am not entirely sure I achieved that, I am very pleased with my purchase. The title says 120hz, but the monitor is actually 144hz. I came from a 75hz monitor via HDMI to this (via DP) and I've heard people say they can notice a difference I'm sure there is one, but I can't tell. I can tell that the colours are more more rich and the overall image quality is much better than my other monitor. If I pull up a solid black image, there is some backlight bleed, especially in the lower-left corner, but unless I'm looking for it, I don't notice it. It's virtually impossible to detect when gaming or through daily use and is in no way a deal-breaker imo. The overall build feels very strong and durable, there is a very minor wobble when the desk shakes, and it has the ability to switch to a VESA mount. You will need to angle the screen up to rotate into portrait view otherwise you will collide with your desk. The cable management in the stand is really nice. It takes some force pushing from the front, but the panel will pop off so you can feed your cables through. Overall, I have no complaints. It feels like it was worth the price and I can confidently say there is a really good chance you will not regret your purchase.
144 hz, 24.5 in, IPS monitor. It looks great and it feels great. Can't really ask for much more. I recommend it to anyone who wants a nice looking monitor that looks great because of that IPS panel. Also if you've never had a gaming monitor with 144hz the difference is crazy and I recommend anyone into PC gaming to have one.
