Excellent Monitor for 2k gaming. Up to 170mhz refresh. Desktop app control. Color is just amazing. I bought one of these in June and just had to get another to match it. Very satisfied with my purchases.
Was very impressed with this monitor. It's just the right size and picture is clearer than I thought. Easy to use and was impressed with how fast it arrived. Haven't had any problems with it.
Primarily used for gaming, I upgraded to this monitor from the VG249Q. It's been a great experience with no dead pixels on arrival and being able to use the same settings as my previous monitor at 144hz with no problems. Highly recommend the upgrade from 1080 to a 2K monitor. Never had a problem with screen blackouts as I've seen some other reviews state.
These monitors are fantastic! They have plenty of input ports and VESA mounts are easy to connect to my monitor arms. The menu controller nub on the back panel is genius, not to mention the image quality and refresh rates are top notch! HDR, GSync, 144hz+... what else can be said. Great job ASUS! The only con I can think of is the bottom of the monitor doesn't have the same slim bezel as the rest of the screen... so it makes side by side less than perfect, there is a little gap when putting them side by side at a slight angle... but not a deal killer.
I did a great deal of research before deciding to purchase the subject monitor, and am very pleased with the monitor and it's user-friendly features. The picture quality is great, and it is Display Port capable. I am an aviation enthusiast, and a flight-simmer. This monitor greatly enhances my flight simulator experience. The cost of the monitor was very reasonable.
After a lot of research I settled on this monitor, and I'm very pleased with it. Easy setup overall, although I had to get a mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable because of the laptop's port. I'm not an artist or graphics designer, but the colors looked great to me right out of the box and I didn't need to make any adjustments. I'm also not a demanding gamer, but the G-Sync compliments my laptop's capabilities.
Great Monitor. Love the Joystick option to adjust controls. No dead pixels. I like the mount especially because you can so easily adjust the height and angle. Also the feet of this monitor have a v shape which allows you to put papers and other items in that area.
Realistically I give it about a 4.8 only because of the wide base which takes up a lot of desk space. I really like the other one they make. But as far a screen quality at 2k this one is very good.
Great, sharp, clear image. Wish stand would lower all the way to the table top as an option.
I need a new one it only stayed on for a month I don't work :(
