For those of U who Text using Numbers U will be Pleasantly Surprise! Instead of taking minutes to complete your Text it takes only SECONDS :) Very Attractive Phone with Excellent Features! Can't Bet the Price! At my Meeting I was Proud to take my Phone out and take Notes :)
Loved it! Excellent product for the price and purpose. Also, really like FM radio ; music access without having to download. It also has micro SD slot for your photos/videos. We liked the first one so much, I upgraded/ and replaced another phone with this product.
I have an account with AT & T and my contract was up, so they sent me a smart phone. It took too much time to learn how to use it and I simply didn't have the patience. So I called AT & T and they said to buy a ATT to go phone. This phone is great, I love it! Its simple and easy to use. It is so easy to text on the keyboard. You can't beat the price!
I'm not ready to pay for an internet plan with AT&T -- I only use the phone occasionally to TALK -- you know, what phones are for! Anyway, I now need to have texting available occasionally for business, so I purchased this phone since it has a full keyboard. It was reasonably priced (less than $30), and all I had to do was take my SIM card out of my current phone and stick it in, call AT&T to let them know, and I'm on my way. Perhaps I'll get with the program next year or so (i.e., smart phones) but till then, this will do fine.
Like your fingernails short - well, leave at least your index finger nail long, or you won't be able to push just one key at a time. Also, don't activate email, or you'll be charged for every one that comes in (read or not) - and you can't activate just "Send". At 25 cents a minute, it cost me over $4.50 in 30 minutes before I turned it off. Phone can't be locked, so "pocket dialing" is a norm.
Good replacemnt phone with no Smart requirement
It takes great pics he said & he can also record videos & send via texts and also by email, not a smart phone but not everyone wants or needs one, great for texting too.
This is the perfect phone for someone who doesn't need a smart phone. Camera is decent, it is fairly easy to navigate (I had it down in two days), volume control is good, texting is easy, charger is both a wall and computer charger with interchangeable ends, has a place for headphones, backlit keys, full keyboard and screen lock, lightweight too. Another bonus is that it comes with a user guide, so if you need help, it is there and you don't have to look it up online. The BEST part though...is the PRICE! This phone was only like $18 after tax for me and all I needed to do was put in my old SIM card and call ATT to update the IMEI number. That is way cheaper than paying a $36 upgrade fee for a new cell phone. Only negatives I have noticed is that bumping it makes it beep sometimes, so if you keep it in your pocket like me, you need to be a little careful or turn it to silent. I haven't had the issue of it pocket dialing yet, so I think the lock works fine. Keys are small and close together, so people with large hands may have difficulty texting or dialing. Battery life seems decent, my battery initially was low, but it seems to work fine now. I charge it probably one a week.
I bought this when my previous phone quit working until I could afford a new phone. For the price, you shouldn't expect anything more than a basic phone. My biggest complaint is the battery life. This phone needs to be charged every time you use it. My advice is that if you just need a phone for emergency calls and sending occasional text messages this would be adequate.
This phone has a lot of features (more than I need) and a nice Blackberry look. The buttons are very small and tight but it works well overall. The biggest negative is the number keypad is on the qwerty board and when trying to dial a number in the dark it is only possible if you remember where the key pad numbers. I was going to return the phone but for $15 I can live with it.
