This product fit my projector really well!
well, it's looked great hanging on the ceiling. easy to adjust. one issue i had was that it may get a little hard to turn the screw at first opened. But after all it's working & looking good.
The telehook came with a bunch of screws for different type of projectors. The only challenging part was to find the right ones for the 1409X. The hook is strong, was easily adjustable can be unmounted pretty easily as well. The projector now stands solidly on the ceiling!
I bought Adtec mount knowing the other options were higher priced. Optoma's own offering is 2 times the price. I had to remove some of the arms and the diameter of the mount is more that the 3 holes for Optoma HD 150s. With that small inconvenience, i am able to atleast make it mount. The documentation is much better than other products that i have seen. Screws, keys and washers are well labelled and packaged. Only time will tell if the optoma's 3 - M3 * 15 screws will hold the mount ( not Adtec problem )-- seems reasonable for price that it is a universal mount.
The instructions included with this product are very vague and as so a beginner at DIY wouldn't be able to successfully mount this to a ceiling. With a bit of inginuity and know-how I was able to mount it to my ceiling.
