Got this phone just to upgrade from an at&t slide phone and to get a qwerty keypad. I just took the SIM card out of my old phone and switched it to this one, and it works great. I think it is a great little phone for just an average texter and caller for only 50 dollars. Have had no complaints so far except for older people, the keys may be hard to see because they are quite small. Other than that, it has a GREAT battery life! It lasted for four days+ with some using.
This is exactly what I was looking for. I already had one of these and I needed a new one. It's just replacing one that's 3 years old and has been through alot of wear and tear. These phones are very durable and easy to use. I prefer this phone over any smartphone because I only use it to call/talk and text. I have a digital camera for pictures and I use my laptop for most other internet needed usage. If your looking for a cheap but very good very durable phone I would recommend this item.
The phones that AT&T offers for non-data phone plans are generally absolutely horrible--I had a Pantech which drove me absolutely crazy and just looked terrible. I got this phone to replace my Pantech. It's very aesthetically pleasing, kind of looks like a little Blackberry, and works great as just a basic phone. I could never talk on speaker phone with my Pantech because no one could hear me, but this phone has a great speaker phone also. Don't expect it to be like a smart phone because it's not, but works great as a basic phone and very cute.
my problem is that when it's in my pocket it seems to wanna call the last person dialed and no way of locking it. Not bad for the price I paid.
If you text a lot this is a simple phone to use. Also the camera is pretty good. I did not want a lot of extras on my phone, so this one meets my needs. Of course you can add more apps if you want. For the price it's a nice little basic phone.
I've had this phone for about a year, so the battery messed up and I got sent another one that does the same thing. Also, the voicemail icon likes to stay on constantly, it'll randomly lose 3G and will not work until turned off and back on. (I also bought this phone at 50 dollars mind) It likes to randomly turn itself off, it won't receive text messages, sometimes, for hours even with good signal.
I got this phone to hold me over until my upgrade. I had an iPhone 3GS. I have worked on setting this phone up all day long. I have been nothing but disappointed. A few things: when I send a text message, I get an alert that I have a new text message; the video camera will only record a 14 second video; it has social media capabilities, but on Facebook, if the status is long, you cannot see all of it; the mobile web browser was locked with a parental control PIN, which I have had to retrieve by email, and there is a 90 minute wait to get online; I have my gmail account set up after trying to log in to it 6 times, but it only shows email from 2011 no matter what I do; I cannot use the app store, it always says there is an error; it was going to let me use the browser/media net, but I am getting a technical difficutly message on that function. It is just unbelieveable to me how bad it is. I got it at the ATT store, and they put a sticker on the box saying it has a 35.00 restocking fee. The phone was 50.00, so what is the point of even taking it back? Totally bummed about it. Don't get this phone.
I bought this phone as a temporary replacement. Im glad it was only temporary. The messaging alerts never worked properly. I had to use speaker most of the time just to hear what the other person was saying. Dont even think about trying to use the internet...
This phone quit working the first day I got it. I charged it all night, and it still won't come back on...
okay so I decided that I needed a pay as you go plan, checked out a lot of phones and this one seemed to fit the discription, boy was I dissapointed !! the phone as I've dubbed it the Crackberry , worked fine for like the first month. now it powers off whenever it wants , it will not let me turn it on tells me to charge the battery when its fully charged and still won't power up. errrr oh yeah and if you have set any of the alarms on it they too will randomly go off. do not waste your money on this phone period !!! now I get to invest in yet another phone , very dissapointed! oh yeah and you can't take it to any At&t stores because its not under contract . the employess at the At&t store will tell you to take your reciept to the store you bought it at.
