The AT&T ML 17939 has the features that I need--a corded 2-line telephone with an answering machine and a call log. It works well at a good price.
This phone is perfect for my needs - caller ID, 1 touch dialing, works when the power is out, has two different height settings - still deciding which I like better - and GREAT BIG BUTTONS! Great phone, good price.
I love everything about it, even though I only have one telephone line; I am able to use it with a two way splitter, which retails for $2.99. I am very happy with this phone.
Same or better price as Amazon. Your prices used to be a lot higher than theirs. Much faster delivery, which I like. If you keep having more competitive pricing, I will order from you over Amazon.

Did not need a 2 line phone but wanted a corded phone that would work with a headset, at my computer. Unfortunately the Panasonic KX TCA60 Hands Free Headset I orered did not work and I had to return it. Have been using my old corded headset until I can find a replacement.
Great phone because it has an answering machine, headset jack and 2 line option. Speaker phone works well as does the answering system. Only real downside is that the buttons are a little stiff and this could be problematic if u make a lot of outbound calls. Hopefully the get easier with use.
As you know there aren't many 1-2 line non-VoIP desktop phone sets left in the world, so with such limited choices this one may still be the best. The "clear talk" speaker isn't all that clear and the mic pickup tends to clip off your first word. Right off you will note the annoying lag when dialing in that the touch-tones follow just after input almost like an old pulse dialer. If you use it as a single line phone, there is no way to select it as such and the phone itself isn't smart enough to do it automatically. "L2: NO LINE" will remain on the display for eternity. The backlit blue/black LCD screen is adequate, but there is no way to keep the backlight always on. It goes dark after about 10-seconds of inactivity even though you can still read the text. You have to press something to get it to re-illuminate. The digital answer phone is fine for what it is and the savings over a voice mail plan will pay for the phone many times over.
A VERY SMART LOOKING PHONE. I WAS GLAD WHEN I RECEIVED IT, BUT, AFTER HOOKING IT UP, I FOUND OUT THAT IT HAD NO CALL BLOCK. WITH ALL THE SPAM AND ROBO CALLS, I NEED THAT CALL BLOCK. OTHERWISE, IT'S A FINE PHONE.
This phone although great at first has a defect. We bought this phone now twice - both times the number 3 stopped dialing so no calls with the number 3 in it could be completed. After we returned the first time with this problem and we repurchased a new one we thought it would be fine, but the brand new one again after about a month now has the same issue. Clearly this means this phone is poorly made. It is sad because everything else about the phone was just what we wanted - if only the number 3 would dial!
