I got this as a Christmas gift for my husband and he loves it! It was simple to set up and easy to use. Works and sounds great!
I was searching for a new turntable to play some old records I recently acquired from my Father's collection the 1970's. this was recommended to me at a local record shop to purchase. The price at the shop was nearly double Walmart's price. I received this in 2 days and hooked this up with o my amp and speakers and it sounds great! A bonus was the fact that the record arm doesn't need to be touched manually as there is a button that places the arm down on the record and also retract s when the record is finished. I use it in my Cake Studio and love it!
This turntable's sound response is truly amazing, my albums sound like CD's sound response. The turntable as a mechanism functions properly and is easy to use. Expect incredible sound response from this $100 turntable, it can't be beat!!
The item was easy to pickup at the store at customer service. Item what is new in the box as described. It was easy to hook up to my existing stereo receiver to my auxiliary port. The sound and function are great. Installation of something you have to be careful with and make sure you are getting the belt on the motor. Shipping I purchase highly recommend this as an entry-level phonograph/ record player.
I'm not an audiophile, but I do like vinyl, and had been meaning to purchase a new turntable for a couple years. Finally just said "yes" and bought the AT LP60. I'm happy.
Bought this turntable for the kids, and we are all very happy with it. It was not expensive, but appears to be. The sound is great (needed to purchase speakers separately. I chose Cyber Acoustics CA 2014RB Amplified at Walmart online, and they are great and inexpensive.) I would recommend this to others, and would buy as a gift as well.
Had a lot of high end equipment in the past. For the money, this is a nice solid turntable.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my youngest daughter that has discovered records. Of course I needed to check it out first before placing it under the tree. I bought a copy of Florence and the Machine - Ceremonials for testing. I've listened to this album many times before but never heard it like this! The sound is fantastic! This is definitely a great starter turn table that should last quite a while.
Pros: It looks great. Genuinely awesome design, looks fantastic. Plays well, the automatic needles works nicely. It spins up very quickly. The felt turntable cover is great quality and did I mention it looks fantastic? So-So: The standard cartridge sounds ok. Neither sounds cheap, nor like an audiophile piece. It's exactly what you'd expect from the price and brand. Cons: The RCA cables don't detach (so you can't change them out) and the ones that come out of the back are thin, cheap, and badly insulated from interference. That's a miss on their part. It's light weight and flimsy feeling, and the buttons are some of the flimsiest I've ever felt on electronics. They're like from a kid's toy. For all this has going for it, they really fell down on a few easy details. Left me sort of questioning if I'd made the right purchase, despite all that's right about it.
The turntable was easy to assemble and simple to connect to my Panasonic CD-Stereo system. I wanted to listen to my old records and feel this does the job to my satisfaction.
