Great item and good quality carrots dehydrated. Tasted just like other brands I've purchased. Great to have on hand to add to recipes like soups,rice etc. I'd buy again.
These freeze-dried products are fantastic! Ten year shelf life is great. Convenience is remarkable. Love all the products from AUGASON FARMS.
I HIGHLY recommend this item!! It's of superior quality, excellent value and a wise investment. These Carrots have a wonderful aroma that makes you want to snack on them right out of the can (yummy). They're also sweet and very flavorful. I have tried several of the different foods that Auguson Farms sells and they have all been of excellent quality, nutrition and flavor. Their foods are excellent for everday use, food storage or emergency food. You can't go wrong with any of the products that Auguson Farms sells. :)
Awesome taste and huge amount. i can always have carrots on hand and no waste anymore. they are so sweet and rehydrates great!
These carrots are very tasty and easily tell, they are real. They are in small chunks which re-hydrates in a short time. I usually cover a small amount in water and place in the frig over nite. They are great in many dishes calling for carrots. In cooked dishes just add dry and cook.
Amazing taste of fresh and sweet carrots, hassel free, and so handy to have as a staple in pantry, for soups to side dishes, chinese food to country cooking. Not always able to get to store for fresh so this is ideal & don't wait for an emergency use them daily even as a snack. kids love them too
Nice to have "real" carrots on hand all the time. I used these to make split pea soup to can and they were a lifesaver.
I started my "Armageddon Closet" several years ago and built up the emergency food supplies little by little. Today we have enough foods and varieties of entrees, breakfast foods, canned, meats & veggies, and dehydrated or freeze dried food supplies to last several of us a few months. When society collapses we can just stay put without having to venture outside until law and order are restored. These Augason Farms products are great compliments to that supply because of their ease of preparation and very long shelf life. We opened the scrambled eggs mix of theirs to try them out prior to being stuck in the middle of a disaster or emergency situation. They're easy to prepare and the taste was remarkably very good. I'm sure all of the Augason Farms products are just as reliable. They make a great compliment to our prepping collection of emergency foods.
I purchase a lot from this company because I'm pretty much home bound and don't have the opportunity to buy fresh food. The carrots are excellent tasting. Once rehydrated I glazed them with brown sugar. Great taste. The only thing I caution you about is they are very tiny dices. Not what you may be used to. I also added them to my pot pies.
The can arrived dented down one side and on the bottom. The lid was also cut deep across the top (boxcutter?) so it can't be used once opened. The package had no damage to it whatsoever, so they packaged it that way! Unacceptable! I will be returning this item!
