bought about month ago...dont use a whole lot.but always works on demand..little pricey compared to wyze .but great solid feel and buttons also feel firm..
So easy to install and very unobtrusive. Makes it so convenient when I don't have my phone with me.
Works well. Able to give codes to my whole family so I know who's coming and going.
I have had my August lock for almost 2 years! I had looked at the keypad about a year ago and thought why would I need that!! Well let me tell you, being able to provide your housekeeping services and pet sitter services separate access codes knowing when they come in when they go is amazing. Plus I don't have to pull my phone out to open my door anymore, got to be the best feature add-on ever!!!
I am leaving on small island and the Wifi is unstable This is good device to provide access with the Bluetooth as well Wifi
I'm disappointed with the cam pro doorbell as you cannot see visitors during the day - any suggestions?
I can't believe I waited so long to get this keypad! It works perfect and is much more convenient to use than the app if geofencing didn't unlock it. Plus, it's super easy to hit the button to lock the door on my way out. I have both Alexa and Google in my garage so I can lock and unlock (with my pin number) with voice command but the keypad is quick and easy if I'm talking on the phone.
I have had the August dead bolt for lock for over a year now and have had some issues with the lock not unlocking when i came home. I reset the parameters in hopes that the lock would automatically unlock but it only worked about 50 percent if the time. So i ordered the key pad and it came in. It was very simple to install and very easy to program. No more juggling with my keys and getting mad. Just that simple, punch in my code and voila, I'm in. Thank you for reading. I'll still recommend this ti all of my friends because it is awesome.
My wife loves this so far. Her phone was not consistently auto unlocking the door, so we added the keypad. However, it stopped working after about a week. Removed the batteries and tested them, and they were a little low already. I replaced them and it's up and running again. Hope they last longer going forward!!!
When I try to enter my code, I have to press the number hard, or else it won't recognize that I press the number, then I'll get the wrong error code, and have to try again. This is not great, especially standing outside your door at night and having to repeatedly enter in my code.
