It doesn't leave an oily residue which is great for my oily complexion. I use it as a primer before applying my foundation covering up any white cast.
Aveeno Positively Mineral Face Milk Sunscreen is the only facial sunscreen I have been using this past year. It's extremely lightweight. It goes on sheer, leaves no white cast and is non greasy. I have very sensitive facial skin, especially to sunscreens. Most burn my skin, but this one does not. I also have no issues with breakouts from this sunscreen. Works beautifully for sun protection, even during my vacation at the beach.
I wasn't sure about this at first cuz I couldn't figure out the best way to apply it (mineral sunscreens can be tricky but provide the best protection). I figured it out! For me, this works best on top of a gel moisturizer. Its so light and liquidy- I drop onto my fingers or face and lightly spread but mostly pat it into my skin. Does not sting the eyes at all which is amazing! It's less forgiving if you apply too much but overall, I definitely like this and would repurchase.
Positively Mineral Sensitive Skin by Aveeno is pleasant to use, not just for the first application of the day but for subsequent ones, even over powder makeup. This face milk sunscreen is runny but that means it glides on easily. SPF 40+ is what many of us are looking for, to take our skincare seriously. The twist cap is functionally simple yet sturdy to withstand activities that require being outside.
I'm not normally a huge fan of mineral sunscreen however after trying this, I am. Please note that I am very pale and this does give a slightly gray tone that I imagine wouldn't blend with darker skin. However for me when I don't have the time to wait for my sunscreen to offer full protection this is a great product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love aveeno and was super excited to try this. I have very sensitive skin but trust the brand so wasn't nervous. It went on really smoothly and didn't leave any weirdly colored cast on my skin. Felt a little greasy after but still enjoyed.
This sunscreen leaves white cast on face. Not recommended for medium skin color. But I think good for fair or very fair skin color. Texture like milky form.
I see why this was discontinued, how are you going to call it a face milk when its as gritty as it is! It was so grainy to the point where it actually kind of hurt rubbing it in. Such a shame, This could have been a good product if not for the grittiness.
this one that arrived is open and not in a package.. you could tell when you take off the cap that it's been used. I will have to return this one and reorder
