This stuff is awesome! Needed a reliable iron on applique for wedding things, did not want to waste money on a cricut.. easy instuctions, was able to print out no problem, was able to cut out letters even, easy to peel but very thin. (the clouds/beads are hand painted and glued on separately, only the letters are the iron on decal product)
My favorite printable heat transfer sheets. They actually work great on light and dark fabrics for me.
I have faithfully used this product for years. The quality of the paper is excellent and holds up through multiple washes. I have a few shirts that are over three-years-old and are just as vibrant as my brand new presses. I highly recommend this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very pleased with your product. I did a T-shirt for an eight year old boy and found that picture was very stretchable which was much needed in this case. I'd recomend it to anyone.
I purchased this along with the light fabric variety, and two other similar products. I put the same design 4X on the same shirt to see which one I liked the best before I committed to purchasing enough to make 16 shirts. While I like the colors better on the light fabric for white t-shirts, this did go on very easily and stayed on through the wash and dryer. The colors were very vibrant (used the HP T-Shirt Transfer setting on my printer) and there was no tearing, peeling or splitting. Overall the Avery products had great color transfer and superior durability. If I were doing darker shirts, I would buy this, as it is I am buying the light version to finish my product. Note: I didn't read the instructions before I got to the application stage, so I mistakenly flipped the image resulting in it coming out backwards. Luckily it was just my test shirt.
I had a specific project while I was on the road that was time sensitive. I was making one of a kind gimmick fleeces for some athletes and wanted photo transfers to personalize them. The transfers were difficult to peel the backings from but they were easy as pie to use and looked amazing. Don't be caught off guard like I was though. You better know you have access to an inkjet printer because businesses don't use them anymore so you can't have Kinkos or any other place print them up for you. Laser printers are incompatible and the ink will slide right off.
Wood surface is best as instructions state if you use an ironing board put a piece of wood inside a pillowcase. Make sure you cut the corners of your transfer (round them). Always let shirt hang for 24 hours after putting the transfer on before laundering. Turn shirt inside out when laundering, always use liquid soap with cold water on delicate cycle! NEVER USE BLEACH! And hang the item to dry! Avery transfers are a better quality then other items out there but it is also VERY expensive!!!!!
This is a great product and I have used it for many projects. Colors come out very vibrant, even with a normal inkjet printer. I wish it were just a bit thicker, as sometimes I have problems with wrinkles, but overall I definitely recommend. Just take your time when weeding.
Why would you give a transfer paper with wrinkles when I iron it it makes wrinkles on the faces of the images. The transfer paper and color or nice if you had a different piece of the wax paper it would be ok
We needed T-shirts for my daughter's softball but the pro printer would not be done in time so I picked this up in store. The printing and ironing came out fine and the shirts were good for the game. They were washed as directed but cracked and peeled after one wash beyond use again. If you need something for one event they will work but don't expect longevity.
