This is my favorite highlighter to use. It's smooth to highlight with. I love that it doesn't smear.

If you're in school or work in a field that you use a highlighter often than you should definitely give the Avery highlighter a try! It also is very quick drying and doesn't smudge

I'm still old school and like to make daily productivity checklists and then highlight things upon completion. I also routinely highlight reports and spreadsheets when reading through them. Being left handed I'd often smear other, lower quality, highlighters. These Avery highlighters do a great job accenting information on a page without streaking of bleeding through.
I have used the Hi-Liters for many years and these are always my choose when I buy new ones. They are long lasting and have great color! And they are a good value for your money!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use highlighters often in my job and was impressed with these from Avery. When highlighting this yellow is a bright yellow, not dull at all. The ink seemed to dry very quickly with no smearing while continuing to use the paper. I like that these are the large size highlighters and come in a two-pack, they should last a good length of time.
This purple hi-liter is the highlighter I track down no matter what it takes. You generally have to order it online because the big-box stores have all converted to a rival brand. But no other manufacturer produces a nice cool, rich purple like this. They are all too red. This one just makes me happy. Plus, in my testing on inkjet documents, this purple does NOT smear, which is setting it apart from the pack. The fluorescent green (my other favorite color) absolutely does smear, badly. (I have yet to test the non-fluorescent yellow, my other winning color.) I think everyone needs one of these purple hi-liters in their life. Try it. I firmly believe you will agree.
I adore this color. It "pops" like the fluorescent yellow, but you can actually see it on the page, unlike fluorescent yellow. And it is awesome for adding fancy edges to flyers (something I did for a kickstarter campaign a few years ago. It added the pizzazz that the inkjet printer could not.) But be aware: IT SMEARS ON INKJET. The "smear safe" logo is not true for this particular color. If you need smear safe, go for the purple.
