Getting size 2 for my seven year old son and it's fit perfectly, he loves the style and color, super comfortable with light and breathable material, just perfect for this warm weather ahead, he even wear it almost everyday for school and it's easy to clean.
These shoes have memory foam inside and are laced with a red string over the laces where they thread through. They are well-made with multiple textures on the bottom for grip. The rubber part looks like paint splatter, which my son loves. They are very nice and comfortable on his feet.
My almost 8 year old son wears a size three, which these are and he said they fix so comfortably and not tight but a tiny bit big so pretty much true to fit. He wore the shoes to school all day and had not complaint. He said they felt so good walking in and also running and playing, such a great gym shoe. 10/10 he says.
This is a long review, only because there's a lot of good to say. Most important, they're comfortable - memory foam insole, padded ankle and heel. Cute design with red fade-outs alternating black/red elastic lace loops, patterned shoe laces, unique outer sole (kinda looks like concrete - it's a good look). A boys-boy shoe (but could make a fine stylish women's trail sneaker for women who wear small sizes). Good traction and grip with extra thickness on midsole. Protected toe caps, good toe box, double stitched reinforced heel, pull-on heel loop, breathable mesh upper. So to those shoe snobs who say their brand is preferable to a "big box" one: they will lose that bet anymore. These are sharp looking, excellent durability shoes.
The Avia Little & Big Boy trail shoes have an ample amount of cushion to support my son while he runs and plays and jumps. He loves the color combination and calls them his adventure shoes. The shoes are a little too big but he still wears then while playing inside.
These shoes are nicely made and look great. They're true to size and fit my 5 year old quite well. He says they feel comfortable and he seems to enjoy wearing them. He can run around all day in them and not have any issues. The sole is very thick and has good tread. He doesn't slip around when wearing these. It also has memory foam padding for extra comfort. He really likes the colors and has an easy time tying the shoe laces. I would recommend these shoes. They're perfect for us for the summer. He can run around and he very active in these shoes. They're well made and don't fall apart easily.
My son likes these shoes, he says that they have a nice fit, are comfortable and he can wear them with pretty much any outfit and he can wear them everyday. I can wear the same size in boys shoes so I tried them on and wore them around the house and they are comfortable. They have nice cushioning in the soles and on the inside of the shoe. I like that they're all black with a bit of red accents and great for everyday wear. They're true to size and have a nice fit.
Very nice shoes. They fit true to size. My son loves them an never wants to take them off so i assume they are comfortable. The material seems like it should hold up to boy wesr and tear. The tread also looks solid and has good grip.
My little guy loves his new shoes. He says they are very comfortable and he and I both love the way they look. A very stylish pair of shoes. The quality seems to be good and I do believe these will last a long time.
I got these Avia Big Boys Trail Shoes for my little one in a size 5, originally for a play shoe, but after seeing them in person they will be good ones! The black with red accents look good. The midsole is gray and hides dirt very well so they always look clean. The laces have reflective stitching made in them for added safety and reflect when hit with light. These are memory foam with a 1/4 inch memory foam inserts. The only ding against them is they are not as light as the other brand of shoes.
