My husband gives this pillow a ‘Huge Thumbs Up'!! He has a really bad back spinal condition and has only been able to sleep a few hours before the pain in his neck and back wake him up. But with this Allswell pillow, he has been able to sleep for at least 6 hours straight and has woken up very relaxed without a stiff neck and his back hurting. He said this pillow gives him just the right amount of neck support and it cradles his head making it very comfortable. He also likes the cooling effect this pillow has because, as he has gotten older, he has noticed that his neck and head have started to sweat at night. The cooling effect of this Allswell pillow has really helped him with that problem, too!! Made in the USA of foreign and domestic components. My husband is extremely happy with this pillow!! Highly Recommend!!
I am a pillow snob. I have to have a very firm pillow, it needs to fit easily into a standard pillowcase and it cannot go flat too quickly. If those criteria are met, I am one happy camper. I was excited to try this pillow out and so far it is meeting all expectations. This is a fairly firm pillow. It does provide ample neck and head support. I am a side sleeper and have found it sufficient to support my neck. It is a memory form and contours around my head/neck. I really like that. I frequently have neck pain which leads to migraines. This pillow has helped stop some of my sleep related discomforts. This is a standard queen pillow. It fits easily into the pillowcase. It is a smooth material and doesn't move around at night. The pillow itself is also wrapped in a zippered case provided by the manufacturer. This will help to protect the actual pillow itself. This pillow is neither too large nor too small. I really like the size. This pillow is a tad tall at first but over a night or two, it begins to better contour to your body. It isn't too large once used a few times. I do recommend breaking it in with a nap or just lounging around before sleep. I make that recommendation for all pillows. If you are looking for a firm pillow that contours to your neck and head and doesn't go flat, I suggest this one. I think you will be pleased and have a nice night's rest.
This Allswell memory foam pillow in a standard queen size is a nice memory foam pillow. It measures at 25 x 16 with a 5.5" depth. It comes with a gray cover that is zippered, therefore making it very easy to remove and clean. The pillow has a very nice feel to it. It isn't too soft or too rigid. It has just enough support to be truly comfortable. I have found that my head doesn't sink down so far in this memory foam pillow. Historically, I have felt as though the foam was encasing my nose, so it was a bit suffocating. The foam cleaning is spot clean only. The cover is easily washable, dryable, etc. Overall, I think it's a pretty good pillow. I would buy again.
This pillow is the squish. It is smooth and cool and squishy all over. The material is rather slippery, but it fits nicely into a standard size pillowcase and won't slip out usually. If you are a back sleeper, you will just be enveloped in softness. It is not very firm, although it keeps its shape. If I'm sleeping on my side and don't prop my arm underneath, I become a face hotdog. It's not pleasant to wake up to, honestly. This is a pillow for soft and squishy purposes. I like it well enough.
I was skeptical about this memory foam pillow. I was concerned about it being too stiff and firm. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. I am fussy when it comes to pillows. I like a small not puffy pillow. They tend to make your head tilt way up. Whether your a side sleeper or a back sleeper. I was using a small, understuffed throw pillow. Anyhow I tried this Allswell memory foam pillow and it's thickness of perfect to hold head level while laying on my side. The pillow molds to my neck curves as well as my head. It doesn't make me sweat. Just a all around comfortable pillow. Would definitely recommend.
Very soft and forms to fit your shape. Comes with a removable and washable case with zipper. Is very light colored so it can easily stain, but you could put another case over for protection. When I first got the item, it smelled like chocolate which was way better than some other factory smells.Sounds silly but I found it comforting that it smelled good upon arrival!
I received the pillow about a week ago and thought this pillow seems very firm. The pillow is firm but as you lay on it the pillow doesn't feel hard like a lot of foam pillows do. The pillow also comes right back into shape after lifting your head.I have shoulder pain sometimes and this pillow keeps my head up and no pressure on my shoulder which helps me fall asleep and stay asleep. The pillow has a zip cover over it which can be removed and washed. I have allergies and this is a nice feature to help with allergies. The pillow is a nice size queen pillow. The memory foam pillow doesn't make you hot either like some of the other foam pillows do.The reason for four stars instead of five is because the pillow has an odor. When I received the pillow it does say may have a smell which will go away when aired out. The odor has faded, but still slightly there. Over all this is the best memory foam pillow I have ever used.
This is a very firm pillow which is needed at times if you need to prop on one. Put your leg up etc. but it's too hard to sleep on to me. But it has a nice cover and easy to wipe off if needed. Also would be good to it shams on for decor.
The description said this 16 x 25 x 5.5 in. pillow is standard queen size. Well standard and queen are two different sizes and this is a slightly small standard size, not near a queen which would be 30in. wide. I am using this smaller pillow as a lounging headrest on my sofa. It fits nicely along the sofa arm without hanging off the front too much. I like the rounded corners and squared sides so that it is the same depth on the edges as it is in the center. It is a very comfy pillow. The ventilation holes make it softer than another solid memory foam pillow that I have. It has a removable slinky knit cover that is gusseted to fit the pillow perfectly with a zipper on one end. I have the very light gray color. The only problem with this pillow is that the foam stinks! The care instructions state to surface clean the pillow only. I had to remove the cover and wash that while I heavily sprayed the pillow with fabric refresher and aired it outside for a week…in sun 1/3 of the time. Even that did not completely eliminate the foam smell which I don't know how to describe. I added a quilted zipped protector AND pillow case, and the smell still comes through when I rest my head on it. It's a tolerable level now, but most unwelcome.
I am soo excited to get this pillow and disappointed after unpacking it. Look at the pictures.
