Love how light this gel is!!
This is a great gel for guys. It smells great and holds for days!
This is great hair gel. You can put it when hair is wet then comb out went your hair is dry. It provides great hold, doesn't leave flakes when dried and not sticky.
Love the product, hate the higher costs.
This product is becoming increasingly rare. Thanks Walmart for continuing to carry it.
Bring back the Spiked Up Look Day Long Glue!! Thats the only one that works. This one is terrible.
another poor replacement to an original that was great to use. very watery and doesn't work well with shorter hair as indicated. I'm 0-for-2 with the 2 new gels that Axe put out (Extreme Hold Gel and Matte Gel). Both have been a disappointment and significant downgrade from their predecessors. I'll give Axe 1 more chance with the Day Long Glue when I finish this, otherwise it's time to find a new brand...
it smelled like a. I don't know, maybe you like that smell but I didn't. the good thing is, it doesn't flake and it's strongholding. so if you need something with a heavy hold, but don't like the flaking aspect then this will be great for you. again though, the smell wasn't that great and it interfered with my cologne.
I really wish Axe didn't discontinue the spiked up look putty and glue and would bring them back, because this gel is terrible and is nothing like them. The 'extreme' hold gel dries out too quickly while styling my hair, it gives my hair an unflattering wet greasy look that makes my hair look like its thinning, it leaves my hair and scalp feeling crunchy and uncomfortable, and the hold isn't even as strong as the matte extreme hold glue or putty. The putty and the glue had a natural matte finish, a strong hold, they didn't leave my hair feeling as crunchy, and both products had an awesome scent labeled as Adrenaline that also came in the form of deodorant, shampoo, body spray, and body wash which have also all been officially discontinued since. Making the whole "Adrenaline" scent product line harder to come by for cheap as a result. Which is unfortunate because Adrenaline, the scent of the spiked up look putty and glue was one of Axe's best newer scents in my book and I liked having a body spray, deodorant, and body wash of the same already strong long lasting scent to go with the putty or glue that worked well for me so I wouldn't have to worry about product scent clashing and my smell being too overpowering from wearing too many scents at a time. Axe, please bring back the spiked up look putty, glue, and the rest of the products from the Adrenaline scent line!!!
I tried this after the Axe Messy Styling gum was discontinued. The description was similar to the gum however after 3 times using and constantly increasing the amount I use to achieve any styling ability I determined this product is worthless. My hair is only about 3-4" and there is no way this product can 'spike' my hair for more than 1 hr if at all due to the excessive amount needed to achieve anything. Do not waste your time with this product just try something else or pay an inordinate amount for the last of the Messy gum, if you can find any.
