I've used these refill packets for years without any problems. I never thought that the granules were big. Also the smaller size packets are formulated for the Ayr nasal rinse bottle which is smaller than others. I've tried using other brand nasal rinse packets with my Ayr bottle and it burned because it was too much.
These work great. Don't cut off your circulation.

This item comes in a package that is a little messy but the item is much easier on my sinuses than a lot of sinus washes I have used before. This doesn't dry out my sinuses like so many it cleans them out and I feel better after using it. I highly recommend.
Gave it a 4 because of wide individual packets. Not to easy to put into the squirt bottle. Prefer long thin packages of saline mix.
The packets are half normal amount 1.5 grams
I've used countless different brands of neti refill packets and every single one of them have been very fine ground and 3 grams per pack. You'd think that with a fairly well known brand like Ayr you wouldn't have to worry about being cheated. Each of these packs is 1.57 grams and they're ground about as fine as table salt. This packet weight is not listed anywhere in the description and you have to search very carefully in the image to see it. These 100 packs are the same volume about 52 packs from pretty much any other brand for about the same price. To make matters worse, even though I mix these for longer than any other brand, its still burns my nose and leaves salt deposits on the pot because it just won't dissolve since it is course ground.
