This is a very solid brand of moderately firm tofu. It's best used in my opinion with a press or where firmness and texture are not as critical. The price point is fabulous, and the taste is consistently good, too. If you're wanting something from a smaller brand, consider this product - it's worth the price.
This tofu is perfect for my needs. The right kind of firmness, the texture, the value for money. You can't mess it up. It's also GMO free, made in Korea. I've found some unoopened in the refrigerator for more than 18 months past the best-by date, and it was just as good as its companions bought in 2020. There are other many more expensive tofu's that are no different; some not so good, and many are not guaranteed non GMO. I think anything made from USA soy is for sure GMO. The only problem I have now is that I cannot buy Azumay off the shelf, only order it. Why, Walmart???
Great item, just as good as national brands. Why can't we get it for Pickup or Delivery?
This is my preferred tofu over the Nasoya brand. It gets the job done at a discount.
Aldis near me doesn't carry tofu. Gotta go to Walmart to get me some darn tofu.
I added this tofu to my enchiladas they took on the flavor of the sauce and it tastes great
Super price, great quality. Every Walmart in my local area has had this in stock and never seems to run out of it. Just like other good tofu's, there are plenty of ways to prepare and cook with it. And compared with other kinds of protein, the price cannot be beat. Works for me!
It's my first time trying it and It's perfect .Just make sure to drain the water completely before cooking
Why all of sudden you can't get it for pick up? You used to be able to. But now they want you to buy the more expensive tofu they have for pick up. Sad Walmart.....I use pick up all the time but now I've cut back cause of stuff like this.
