This product uses the good form of B-12, and a high amount, best thing....its sustained release, so you dont just pee it all out an hour later. I get great energy, and delayed exhaustion. I recommend you buy the 100 count, the 300 count start to smell bad after awhile, they're still good, but they smell really bad. Worth the money!
This Vitamin B-product is much more efficient than any other vitamin-B product we bought. We tried different brands, but come back to this one - you feel very soon a real improvement with your well-being (energy, memory)
I was recommended this product by co-workers for energy throughout the day and the first day I used it I noticed a dramatic difference! My overall mood was better and had better mental clarity...awesome product...if you are a coffee drinker I would recommend taking it a little later in the day after the caffeine from coffee wears off or else you may feel a little jittery...but overall great product!!
There are plenty of B-complex products on the market but I have had a very difficult time finding one that has this formulation. While it's difficult to really determine if this formulation "works" or not, in reading the literature I found that this formulation has all the essential B vitamins in one tablet. I also very much like the fact it comes in bottles of 300 with a very good shelf life so that I do not have to constantly re-order.
These work great for me, yes they are big, your pee turns bright yellow, and they might smell a little, but I have way more energy (and I work 12hour night shifts and don't get sleepy) Also when I take them everyday for at least two weeks I notice I start dropping more weight than I do just dieting.
I've taken these for many years. Would not be without them. Am right at 78 years old and in very good health. Still do all my own housework, yard work, tend my flower beds and summer garden. I really believe taking the whole B-complex is the way to go.
I have been using this formulation of B-complex for about a year. You will have a hard time finding the components of the B12 for the same or lesser price. Methylcobalamin can penetrate cell walls much better than Cyanocobalamin (the one found in most preparations od B12). A little dissapointed with the use of Folic Acid instead of Folate. I supplement it with 400mg of Folate. Its not a good idea to take more than 800mg a day of Folate.
These tablets are huge! For someone, like myself, who has a problem swallowing -- these are uncomfortable. There should be a way that they need not be so large.
The pill is huge. The first time I took it I drank a tone of water and I swear I could feel it in my throat. I then cut it in half and it was not any easier because of the edges. I then cut it in quarters. I am not going to waste the pill so now I take a quarter size and crunch it up with my teeth. Also the pill is yellow and my urine is bright yellow when I take this pill
This has a bad smell. When I put it in the pill box with my other medications and supplements, it gave them the smell. I don't know why Vitamin Shoppe makes smelly supplements. They should make odorless ones.
