The Angi man did an excellent job on the assembly, and it didn't take him a long time. He even explained the specific features; extra outlets for plug in accessories, and extra storage space.
due to my chronic nerve damage and slipped this I had to hire someone to come put it together for me but this chair is real comfortable and only took 10 minutes to assemble
The set up guy Ariel, was on time, polite n good communication on any questions I had. Since this is my first buy as an online order, I was happy to get some to set it up for me. Definitely recommend them for small or big projects. Leave the job done n your place tidy.
The tech showed up more than an hour and a half late, which was okay considering I really needed the help, patience gets things done. Once the guy arrived he was kind. He arrived and got right to work. what was really interesting was the fact that the name that he was messaging me under was not the name that he provided me when he entered the house however the picture according to the Angie's List was the same first red flag second red flag was when he was putting the order together I had to help him with instructions because he got confused with what went where at one point. I don't know what was going on with this guy. After it was assembled he did help me put it into the correct room and helped me with rotating it the correct direction considering it was an overbed rolling desk and had a certain way to go. What I found out after he left is what upset me the most though, not at a single point dis he inform me about damage to one corner of the desk where its not only dented in but the protective desk coating to keep the particle board protected from moisture was missing. I was at first pleased with the service and even gave him a tip even though the info from Angie's List verses him was not matching, he went on to tell me he used to have his own account but Angie's List terminated his account for some reason?! He provided a business card before leaving and I was at first looking to hire him for other service with a greenhouse assembly, he not once called me back or informed me of the damage to my desk to this day. Angie's List is great but like all companies it is possible to have people abuse their systems, use caution, do your research and pay close attention to your merchandise with service being provided. I would use this service again but a different tech indeed. Definitely don't give anyone hired for assembly of a product access to your home as offered without your attendance. I declined this offer immediately!
I pay for the assembly and I did not receive any help, just the box with the pieces separated . I even paid for the service twice, since they were 2 chairs
An outside service called Angi was used. I had an appointment set for 10am but the tech didn't show up. I contacted him a few times to no avail then received a call from him around 12:30pm. He didn't show up until about 3pm. Upon his arrival he wasn't ready to work and was inebriated. He unboxed everything then took an hour long break. The job wasn't done until almost 11pm.
The assumbler never showed up. After the time (1.5 hours) for assumbly passed, I got a call from customer service asking me for reschedule because the guy had a car problem. I had left him a message when the time passed about half hour. I never got a reply. I think a no show, no call deserve a 0 star if I could. My furniture is still in the box. I am going to find someone else to do it and get my money back.
Angi/Handy rescheduled twice and for the two appointments no body showed up or respond to my call/ text or gave me a feedback now I am here waiting for a refund and someone to pick the massive unassembled closet/ armoire and worried for the safety of my 7 year kid as the boxes are huge taking all the space in my small apartment for almost a week! $800 and a walmart membership for a mediocre service. Not even a star for this service
The company sent me a man named Mauricio O. and he was TERRIBLE. Please switch if you get this guy. He tried calling me to tell me to cancel the appointment with Angi Services and that instead I can just pay him cash for a lower price. That was the first red flag, I felt off and thankfully didnt do it. He said he was going to get here at 9am %26 then didn't show up until 2pm. I was thankful because on the app he scheduled for 4pm, so i thought he was being generous. He worked for about 1 hour %26 5 minutes %26 asks me if im okay with him getting a quick lunch, so I said yes. HE WAS GONE FOR 2 HOURS %26 45 minutes! %26 when I called him he was mad and insisted to come back another day (outside of the company's timeframe/knowledge) when I PAID for it to be done in one sitting. He didn't even do much. Thankfully the company will be sending me someone else but now I have to wait a couple of days
Started off he was going to be here at five then called and said 6:30didn't show up until 6:35. Couldn't assemble the couch completely because one of the parts was broken so paid for some thing that couldn't even be completely installed
