A beautiful addition to our home--we love this dresser!
We bought the matching crib first and decided later to get this changer in order to match. The assembly went very quickly since my husband and I worked together, and the finished product looked very nice (especially next to the matching crib). If you are experienced with assembling furniture, you will find this an easy project. The overall look of this changer is of a solid, classy piece of furniture that should transition well with my child as she grows.
This changer is better than I expected. The color and the quality are just what I had been hoping for. Actually, it's a little larger than I expected too, which is good. Plenty of room on top for baby and the drawers are all on rollers. My husband put this together without any problem.
This product is very functional- I love that it is a changing table and dresser in one piece. We have a tiny nursery and could not fit a changing table plus a dresser or chest in the room. We got the Ebony (black) finish and it is beautiful. It was a little more "involved" to assemble than the matching Cadence crib was, but still very simple nontheless. It only took my husband about 45 min to get it together. Like the crib, it is lightweight yet super sturdy. The drawers glide in and out very easily. I didn't know that it came with a flat foam pad for the top of the table, but it does- however it is very chinsey and was ripping at the seams after being unwrapped for only 10 minutes. That didn't bother us though since we were not planning on using the included foam pad anyways- we will be getting a much nicer concave changing pad to replac e it. The size of the top of the table is standard so that most other changing pads will fit perfectly.
We received it before expected and there were no scratches on finishes. The wood is heavy and sturdy. The color is amazing. It was pretty easy to build as long as you know your ABC's lol! Plus the drawers slide in and out nicely. So no worries there. I was afraid the size was going to be small, but it definitely was not. Its a great size. Overall we are very pleased with the quality in this product!
This is a very nice changing table with great drawer space. The espresso finish matches perfectly with the BabyMod Cadence crib that we ordered as well. The changing pad that comes with the table is very thin, so we had to buy another one. Our baby isn't due for another month, so we haven't used the changing table yet. It seems to be a good piece of furniture, and I'd hightly recommend it.
We bought this changer/dresser to go with our crib from the same collection, however, the changer costs about $70 more than the crib--quite pricey. We received it from the Walmart's Site-to-Store in good condition. Upon inspecting the pieces before assembly, we found few defects in the finish, but it was not so bad that we would consider returning the product. Assembly was done by my husband alone, but definitely would go better with two people. It looks good once assembled and has ample storage for all my baby's clothes and bedding. The changing pad quality is questionable, though, and I would buy another one. All in all, if you got the Cadence crib I would recommend getting this changer with it. I would have given this product 3.5 stars because of the price / some finish issues / changing pad questionable quality, if there was an option, but I am not disappointed enough to give it only 3 stars since there is an ample storage / safety belt / sturdy construction, so that is why I am giving it 4.
This product has excellent wood quality. The instructions are user-friendly and you might want a second person to help when putting up the front and back beams. It's very light weight and easy to move but that comes with the lack of a bottom piece (you can see the carpet when you pull out the bottom drawer). Changing table rails give peace-of-mind that your baby won't fall off the sides.
I haven't had a chance to use the product yet as our son is not due until March, however this product seems that it will fit our needs perfectly. It is pretty sturdy, but was a little more difficult to put together than the coordinating crib. The directions weren't awesome, but were pretty good. The changing pad that comes with it seems kind of cheap and thin. I am going to use it for a while to see if it works good, but probably will buy a better one. Overall, it is a good product for $250. I do wish I would have gotten a separate dresser from changing table though so that I could use the dresser longer since the crib converts, but I am sure I will have no trouble finding a dresser to match later in life. The color of this product is perfect!
We received this as a gift and the first one arrived damaged - it's not the easiest to return if it's as a gift and you don't want to take it to the store (heavy!). The new one arrived today and I love the wood finish. It will look perfect next to the matching crib. I also love that it has drawers - very practical for a small nursery.
