We ordered this set (crib and dresser) after seeing it at Babies R Us under another name and for much more expensive. The reviews of the Babies R Us furniture proclaimed that the finish scratched very easily. I have not found this to be true with this product. There are a few imperfections in the wood from manufacturing, but they certainly aren't noticable unless you're inspecting it (as I was). The drawers open and close very smoothly. I love it!
Lovely little dresser, sturdy, made out of wood. Looks great, smells like wood which I love. Hubby put it together in 30 minutes. Great buy for the price.
I was very happy with the quality of this and other Baby Mod (Davinci) products I have purchased. The instruction are not the best but most people won't have any issues.
It looks great, but it is very time consuming to put together. It is great addition to our nursery and its pretty solid construction too. I think that it will remain in our child's room for several years. It is spacious as well.
I bought this for my daughter's nursery. I put this together being 5 months pregnant by myself with out any problems. It is a very heavy piece of furniture. I did have to figure out how to lay certain pieces to be able to put it together by myself. Definitely would have been easier with two, however my husband was away on business and i wanted to set up the nursery as a surprise. The quality is a little better than i had expected. Like I said, it is very heavy (100 lbs), and stable. I had it delivered to my house and I was worried if the wood would be damaged at all. And to my surprise it wasn't. Everything looked great. I do wish the drawers were a little bit deeper though. But for a baby/child I think it will work out just fine. It is made out of PINE, which is a very SOFT wood. So just keep that in mind. If you're careful all will be fine. Also, the color is as it looks online. Matches pretty well with the Babymod Bella 3 piece Nursery Set. Not exact but really close. From a distance it looks like a matching set, but close up you can see a little difference. All in all, it gets my approval!
