After pricing playards, I decided on a minicrib for my granddaughter to keep at my house. Not only is this a very pretty piece of furniture, it suits her needs perfectly. The only negative comment I have is the mattress pad that comes with it. I bought a real mattress.

A huge space saver

I needed a small crib due to limited space in my house and this crib works great. It is large enough for the baby to be in for the amount of time I hoped, but small enough that it fits my space needs. My only complaint is that the wood is very soft and scratches easily (I scratched it a bit setting it up), but not bad enough that it looks horrible. I would definately recommend for small houses or apartments.

This crib is perfect for our small nursery. I am 6 months pregnant and was able to put it together in about an hour- but dont bother with the directions! Just look at the picture and its together in no time! We also got the BabyMod 50 coil mattress and it is a perfect snug fit. Havent used it yet because baby is still a couple months away! I read that it scratches and dents easily by other reviewers but did not find that to be the case...

When I went and picked up the product at my local Wal-mart Site-to-Store, I thought that the product is pretty well packaged. After I got home and opened it up, everything (all the parts necessary to assemble the crib) is there. However, I did find out the the installation pictures in the provided manual is not very helpful. After reading the installation procedure, I felt like some steps are skipped. It's like going from step 1 to step 3. So, I had to open up a web browser and look at the picture of the assembled crib as a supplement. On the plus side, even with the sketchy installation manual, I got everything assembled within 30 minutes (I'm a computer repair person). If you aren't very comfortable putting parts together, it might take you an hour or two at the most. So, I would say the installation is quite easy. The quality of the wood is very good. The color I picked is cherry and it is very beautiful. However, I find the wood coating a bit soft (they can be easily scratched). On the other hand, after it is assembled, the crib feels very solid. So, no shaking. No wobbling like all the cheapest $99 cribs I've seen at the store. It felt like it would last for at least 2 or 3 kids usage. There are no wheels at all at the crib base, if some of you are wondering. However, on the carpeted floor, it can be moved very smoothly because the feet of the crib are round. So, it just glides without much fuss. The assembled crib isn't very heavy at all. I would guess 20-30 lbs at the most. I'm a 125 lb, 5' 4" small guy. So, if I can push the crib around, anybody can. Really recommend buying a mini portable crib if your space is limited, like we are in a New York apartment. The full size cribs are just too big. By the way, if you are wondering, this crib is the EXACT SAME crib as Da Vinci Systems Mini Emily Crib available at Target & elsewhere. The mattress (or pad or whatever you call it) that came with this crib is about 1.5" thick and it is pretty good. But, we opted to buy an additional 3.5" mattress. Anyway, really good crib for the money. Very happy with the purchase. PS: I answered never in "how often do you use this product?" because wife is still 3 weeks away from due date! Still, I think it will be an awesome crib for my baby and I'm a very picky guy.

I purchased this crib for the arrival of Baby #1. I have not used it yet. I purchased this item from site to store for free shipping (what a great option) which took less than a week to recieve. The packaging was in good shape so were the pieces inside of it. All the pieces were included and none were damaged! YAY! My brother, who enjoys putting things together assembled it. It appeared to be very easy to assemble. The crib is the perfect size to put in the small bedroom with mom and dad. The size, color and quality are perfect in my opinion. It goes well with the other cherry wood furniture in my room. The crib adjusts to four levels, which you need an allen key to adjust. Btw, the crib does come with a very thin mattress. You may want to consider purchasing a thicker mattress for it. When using a thicker mattress you may want to lower the level to #2 from the top. Overall very satisfied with my purchase. Hopefully, the baby will like it.

Just started using this crib. It came at little scratched and scratches easily so 4 stars. I also wish it was a little bigger. I am not sure if it will last until she is read for a bed. Some stated the mattress pad is a bit thin. It is but works well right now. Don't see the need to switch until dd packs on some more weight. On the positive side it seems very comfortable, looks great and is sturdy. It also fits well in my small space.

I ordered the two beds for my twin grandsons and they are great for nurseries. Space and quality are good, but the day after I ordered these, there was another bed that went on sale for half the price. That was very dissapointing but at my age I did not want to go through the changes of returning these and ordering new ones. If you have a small space and need a great bed, these are wonderful. However, you can beat the price.

I had quadruplets and needed to find 4 cribs that would fit in the same bedroom. This Emily mini crib was perfect. I was so impressed with the end product and everyone has commented on how nice they look. Easy assembly (I put all 4 of them together myself - although an extra hand would be helpful when you're attaching the mattress support). Only gripe about this crib is that the wood it pretty soft and dents easily. One of the packages had minor damage during shipping and one of the legs had a small dent. Also, the mattress pad is really thin, but I'm making it work until I can buy a better one. All in all, I'm impressed!
