I loved it when I saw it online, but when it was all assembled it was even better! I did purchase the better mattress at the same time and would not have been happy with the thinner one. (I've never seen a portable crib come with a better mattress so I wasn't surprised). I do wish there was a better selection of bedding though.
This crib is great for limited space areas. It looks very nice and adds a flare to the bedroom. I love the wheels to roll it from room to room. It was fairly easy to put together and holds up well. My only complaint would be that I have had some difficulty finding bedding.
We actually have 2 of these cribs because it is built so well and is so stable. The wood is a great quality and the style is much more attractive than typical portable cribs.
I would say if you are looking for a crib that is small this would be it. Small and fits great in any room with not alot of space. I was able to find sheets for the mattress that I got for the crib. The sheets that I got also work for a portable crib. I would make sure you look at the measurements of the mattress first before you go out and buy one.
this is a great crib for someone with limited space, for a grandparent's house, or for someone who would like to put a crib in their master bedroom. it looks really good. only issue i had with it was the stickers on the headboards. they are very difficult to remove and are too ugly to leave on.
I must say that we were very pleased with the overall product, thought it was priced a bit high for a portacrib though. Very sturdy and the color matched our master bedroom furniture perfectly. Bigger than a bassinette with the ability to lower the mattress. Looks like a mini version of our big crib. Best of all you can wheel it around the house it fits through door ways. Would recommend.
I have been looking for a baby crib for my very small room for over a year in preparation for my baby, and I have to say I am totally satisfied with my choice. I had finally decided on the Baby Mod Mini Rocking Crib because of the rocking feature and it matched my bedroom furniture very nicely. When I ordered it, I had it shipped to Walmart (for free) and it was there within 3 days. I also ordered the 3 inch Baby Mod Mini Mattress for $30 and it fit perfectly. When we opened the box for the crib, there were no scratches, dents, chips or pieces missing. There was also a feature included that wasn't listed in the description. It came with 2 extra pieces that prevented the crib from rocking. You also get wheels that enable you to wheel the mini crib where ever you need it to go with ease. The crib is very light weight and easy to maneuver even without the wheels. I plan to use this crib until she grows out of it, which will be around 2 yrs old, and at that point I plan of being in a larger home where she can have a toddler bed. I will use this crib for any future children as well, this is how much I love this crib. My friend bought the same crib from a store (not Walmart) in our city and was very dissappointed because she did have pieces missing and the crib was scratched. I highly recommend buying from Walmart.com. I'm not really concerned with the difficulty on finding bedding, I think I will just alter the standard bedding to fit.
EXCELLENT****Great crib small perfect for my room very easy to assemble, go perfect with my bedroom set, very sturdy, I a, about 2 weeks due, so it hasn't been used yet. You definitely have to buy a separate mattress the mattress that come with the crib is to flat, but over all the crib I recommend, if you have not much space in a bedroom, or even to have a the sitter, grandparent's home etc. this is perfect. Very easy to wheel around the bedroom into another room if you wish, the rocking is good for putting baby to sleep.
If you have a tight space in your bedroom this crib is best for you. Product quality is good and it's easy to assemble. One thing I like to mention is that I really had a tough time finding a bedding set for this crib since there are not many portable crib bed set. If you buy a 6" high mattress make sure the fitted sheet fits fully.
Good design but there is one design flaw. Although the crib base can be adjusted to 4 levels but it requires you to unscrew the base and screw it back to the new level. It would have been nice if there was an easier way. Solid construction and good looks.
