My husband and I put this crib together in less than 30 minutes. It is beautiful. It is very sturdy and I am sure that when my baby gets here he will enjoy it.
We love this crib and would highly recommend it. It was easy to put together, the color is beautiful, and it seems well made. We've used it for about a month since our first baby was born, and we are so glad that we purchased this crib! I also love the storage drawer under the crib...a great place to keep sheets and blankets!
Not difficult to assemble, as we had expected (due to other reviews). Absolutely love it - the look, the drop side, the quality...
This crib is absolutely beautiful. I believe it seems to be very sturdy all though I have not been able to use it yet. It is just sitting in the nursery patiently awaiting the arrival of the little one. All and all it seems like a great crib. The only complaint I have is that the directions were terrible for putting it together. My hubby still got it together in under an hour but that was basically due to his handyman skills and also the convenience of all the extra tools we had available for him to use. He said that he probably would have been better off without the directions at all b/c they just made it more confusing if anything.
This crib looks great, the honey oak color is very rich and looks expensive. It was easy to put together - took my husband & I 90 minutes - but we didn't have any problems. All parts and directions were included in shipment, and directions were pretty easy to follow. It is true that the wood is soft and will knick/ding easily, so be careful. There were some minor scratches on 2 of the rails when we took out of box, but they are turned to the inside (bottom) so no big deal. Other than that the pieces arrived in great shape. I have only 2 minor complaints: 1) the pull out drawer underneath can't really be pulled out fully, if you do that the front tilts and drops to the floor, so you can only pull it out about halfway 2) there are a few of the screw heads that are visible (they don't give you a cover). The dropside seems to function pretty smoothly. We haven't yet used the crib - haven't even bought the mattress or attached the mobile, bedding etc, so we'll see how that all fits. But can't wait to use!
My husband and I purchased this crib for our first child. We are very happy with the quality. It is very easy to put together, it took my hubby about and hour to do it. The coloring is beautiful. Minimal visible screw heads. Not the highest quality drawer slide, but it works nonetheless and it holds alot :)
I couldn't agree more with the other reviews, they are right on. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and sturdy this crib is. It looks almost identical to the Pottery Barn sleigh crib that I really wanted, but couldn't rationalize spending $800 on. Drawer is not too sturdy but perfect storage for blankets. Wood is soft and easily dented. A couple pieces had minor scratches, I was bummed but not worth the hassle of returning. You do get what you pay for but overall, this crib is well worth the money and more!
My daughter is 4 months and we decided it were time for her to sleep in a real crib! I did SO much research on all cribs out there. Its crazy how expensive cribs are! I didnt have the money to spend a ton on those high end name brand cribs (which are probably really good quality and worth it) but I didnt either want to spend so little and get something cheapy. After all my research and reading up I decided to go with this crib and am overall really happy. At first when we received the shipment (site to store-pretty easy to pick up with my in-laws van) one side of the crib was completely cracked and broken. So after speaking with customer service they had it picked up from our house the next day and had another one shipped to our house free of charge. This was very nice but still a huge inconvenience..... a week later, the crib arrived. It was fairly easy to put together for me (my husband got really frustrated at the directions, but I am a more patient one) took about 2 hours. Since it is made of pine it is obviously very soft and dents easily, but you cant really see it cuz the wood is so light. Just be careful putting it together. I get many compliments on it since it looks really expensive. Overall I am very happy with it now that the frustration is over with of it coming broken the first time. You get what you pay for, I guess. Just be prepared for something to go wrong and work through it.
I was so excited when I first got this crib. As soon as I got home we unpacked it to put it together, but there was a lot of hardware parts missing so the crib is still sitting in our dinning room waiting to be put together. I got in touch with the manufacturer and I ordered the new parts so I'm still waiting. The crib itself looks very nice and strong but I really can't say much until I actually put it together.
