I was very impressed and how comfortable this rocker is with a high back curved back and an attached head rest pillow that adds extra comfort. The rocker I received has a very nicely upholstered dark green soft chenille fabric, a black metal frame, and light color wooden rockers. There are also side pockets for handy storage for things such as books, magazines, or small computer. This rocking chair has a modern look but would go well with any decor. It is advertised as a rocker for nursing mothers but can be used by anyone! I use it in my living room and I love rocking in it! This rocking chair has a modern look but looks great with any decor. The product came packaged in 5 pieces with the washers and screws and was very easy to assemble when following the directions. It only took me about 20 minutes to put together a very comfortable and sturdy rocking chair.
This chair could not be more perfect!!! I needed a decent sized, but not too large, rocking chair for my nursery. There's a dark green accent wall in the room that I desperately wanted to try and match. IT IS PERFECT!!! The seat is slightly harder than I'd like, but I'm going to find a cute pillow for the corner and it'll be just fine!
The Baby Relax Robbie Rocker arrived in a single box and it was not assembled. It took about 20 minutes to put together and it came with all the tools necessary. Assembly was very simple and almost self-explanatory. It was really only a matter of using an included wrench to attach the leg frames and the rocker feet. Once assembled it is very sturdy and can take a considerable amount of weight. The rocker is much nicer than it looks in pictures. The fabric is like a brushed, suede-like microfiber. The entire chair is made with the same material. It is soft and feels high-quality. The neck bumper is attached to the actual chair. I'm 5'9" and the neck bumper sits just below my neck at the top of my shoulders. It provides an extra measure of support and can be moved to where you need it without falling off the chair if you move. The seat is extra wide. It definitely allows you to sit in a number of different positions and have a blanket in your lap comfortably, too. It's spacious. The seat cushion is firm and very supportive. The seat cushion is removable and the cover comes off for cleaning. The rocker feet are a very high-end looking solid wood with a light finish. They contrast nicely with the black iron leg frames. The whole chair has a definitely modern look to it and the materials it's made with are all high quality. I love the chair as much for how it looks as I do for how comfortable it is. I would highly recommend this rocker.
I'm writing this review for the Sparks review program Walmart this is a great chair I wish I had one when I was a young mother I would definitely recommend this to anyone buying a gift for a new mother. It is a large Rockingchair really roomy for pillows or any blankets that you need for your baby, it's a chair that is high up so you don't strain yourself getting up out of the chair carrying a baby. It has metal brackets as shown in the pictures hardwood oak raiLs. It also has two large pockets on each side of the chair convenient for Kleenex baby spit up wipes a book for the mother to read while she's rocking the baby. This chair feels a little firm at first but once you sit in it it actually conforms to your body and it is very very relaxing. This chair looks small but it isn't it's large enough to set a 300 pound person in it and still have enough room for comfort. It also has a nice small pillow which is attached to the chair it's convenient for relaxing back fits perfectly right at the neck head area I think it's a plus.
With three of my nieces expecting having babies I was very excited to recieve this product from Walmart. This rocker comes with very clear instructions and is extremely easy to assemble. You just have to attach the leg frames to the seat. It is surprisingly very comfortable. The high back of the rocker has a small pillow attached at the head. This gives enough support while using it. The fabric is something similar to microfiber and can be easily dusted or cleaned. I loved that the seat is wide enough to put a small cushion. And most importantly the rocker doesn't squeak! This is a very comfortable rocker and I highly recommend it.
This chair is so comfortable. The color green is so fun. The rocking feet color is such a nice wood color to compliment the green color. There are pockets on the side for easy storage. The chair rocks smoothly. Very easy assembly. There is a pillow attached and is a nice touch to the chair, especially when rocking a baby. Great product!
I received this product as a member of the walmart spark reviewer program. My daughter is still an infant (less than a year) and often gets restless or fussy, wanting you to sway or get up and walk. When you are sleepy or tired that sucks but with this rocker i can keep her relaxed and satisfy myself by resting at the same time. The rocker design is very simple and straightforward. the upholstery on the seat is nice and feels like a cotton polyester blend (with mainly polyester). The legs are two simple sturdy pieces that comprise of wooden bottom reinforced by metal bars. It says the weight limit is 225lbs but im 260lbs and it works just fine (no creaks when i sit, no yielding, nothing as of current which his great). I love that the sweat has a permanent pillow piece by the headrest are as well as nicely defined arm rests and pockets on either side to store stuff like remotes and other things. I got the green colored seat ( would loved grey as it a more universal compliment) but the green is fine. I highly recommend.
This Baby Relax Robbie Rocker is so comfortable that the baby is not the only one who will be lulled to sleep. This rocker is the perfect combination of style and comfort for your baby's nursery, a bedroom or just anywhere you need a nice snugly chair. Inspired by a Scandinavian design with a simple silhouette, It is upholstered in a soft, durable chenille fabric. Although the description says that the chair is Gray, the chair I receives is Green as you can see in my picture. The durable chenille fabric is attractive and easy to clean. It is ideal for any mishaps that might occur. This chair has a sturdy frame and offers a comfy but firm seat. It features pockets on both sides as well as a padded headrest and good lumbar support. This rocker is the ideal spot for you to rock, feed, and sooth your baby and is also the ideal spot to relax and re-energize yourself. I found the metal legs to be a bit spindly looking but they are more than strong enough and well able to hold up the chair. The wooden based rockers are a little too light in color for my taste, I would have stained them darker. That, of course, is just my personal taste and doesn't affect the quality of the chair.
The Baby Relax Robbie Rocker chair that I received was in a very pretty dark green color with a simple Scandanavian design that would go with many decors. Being a grandma means that there are babies to hold and this rocker is perfect. The side pockets can fit diapers and other items. The felt on the bottom of the rocker feet is definitely a PLUS for laminate floors, and if the floor is carpeted, the felt prevents the rocker from scooting while rocking. The cushion is zippered and the head pillow can be flipped back if not needed. The instruction manual states that it takes 2 people to put the rocker together but I easily put it together by myself. Negative: What should have taken 10 minutes ended up taking 40 minutes for me for the reason that I had to find 4 small washers since the pack I received was short 4 washers. As well, the instruction manual I received had the drawing of the underside but the drawing was incorrect about the placement of the brackets. I logically placed the brackets in reverse of what was in the manual, because the holes underside the seat were drilled to accommodate the brackets the way they should be placed. I hope the manufacturers have corrected the diagram by now. Other than those two frustrations, the chair is lovely and actually reminds me of modern Eames era furniture, but I rated it a 4 based on the incorrect manual and the lack of washers. Don't be fooled! This rocker is not just a baby rocker, but readers can slip their books in the side pockets, hand stitchers can put their projects and materials in the pockets and rock away while working.
The baby relax Robbie rocker accent chair comes with a 1-year limited warranty. You do need two people to assemble the chair feet and metal legs to the bottom of the chair. That is the only assembly and the instructions say it will take about 10 minutes. It comes with an allen key and no other tools are needed. It took us a solid thirty minutes to assemble what appeared to be very simple parts. That is because the instruction diagram of the bottom of the chair does not match the bottom of the chair. The actual position of the two brackets, which need to be attached to the underside of the chair, is backwards. This was clear to us when we saw that the holes, especially the center hole, which does not line up the way the diagram, shows. The center hole of each bracket is not in a straight line as indicated in the diagram on page 4 and 5 of the instruction booklet. Therefore, if you ignore the booklet for positioning the brackets and use the actual holes on the chair as a guide, you will be fine. Use the booklet to understand exactly what order and where to place the flat washers, spring washers and bolts. That part is important and accurately diagramed. The chair after assembly was a moss green, and quite nice looking. It is an attractive feature in the room. The side pouches are a great addition for placing baby supplies or television remotes or a book to read, etc. The chair was a bit disappointing as far as comfort, however. I am five feet two inches so it was a bit too tall for me. To have good back support in the small of my back, I had to scoot way back into the chair and then my legs are not long enough to sit comfortably without some pressure under my knees. I tried to place pillows strategically to get support and to keep me from having to sit all the way to the back of the chair, but it was still not as comfortable as I would want. The cushion seat is comfortable and if I draw my knees up under me and curl up in this chair, then it is comfortable. The area behind your back also has very little padding, which contributes to the problem. I love the look of this rocker, but it is not the most comfortable.
