I wanted to write this review to address something the list of features nor the other reviews address... the wheels. The wheels on this stroller are SOLID rubber, not inflated, (like joggers), and not plastic. This means the wheels are very durable but still really rough riding over bumps and gravel paths. It's NOT a jogging stroller and when I contacted the company, they said it was best for smooth paths or for mainly indoor use. That said, it's a good overall STANDARD stroller. Durable wheels and would meet most needs unless you are outdoors a lot and go over gravel, rough uneven paths, cobblestones, and the like. If you are looking for a jogging stroller or one w/ a smooth ride LIKE a jogging stroller, this isn't the best bet. Otherwise, this would work fine.
I am looking to start jogging outside when there is nice weather and I didnt want to spend a whole lot on a jogging stroller being that I am on my last child who is almost 4. I purchased this stroller and I am very happy with my purchase. It works perfectly and I feel I got a great bargain with the price. I would recommend this to all my friends.
In the expensive world of jogging strollers, Baby Trend has gotten it right with this one!! This stroller was very affordable, around $100, a good looking piece of equipment, and easy to use. I have another Baby Trend stroller, and love that one, although the kiddo is too big to sit in it now!! My only small complaint is that the locking mechanism for one of the back wheels came off in the box. That took some creative work to get that back onto the stroller!! Otherwise, great stroller, great price. Just wish the colors were more girlie!!
I love this stroller! It is easy to collapse and set up. The wheels roll smoothly and it is easy to push. The best part though, is it will fit in the trunk of my VW Beetle! All I do is pop off the wheels (which takes about 30 sec.) and in it goes! I even have room to spare for groceries! If you have a small car but still want the advantage of a jogging stroller then this is the one for you!
The only thing I hate about it is the fact that the canopy doesn't extend nearly as far as I would like at all. My son should have a little more protection from the sun when we are facing it. I will either have to figure out how to make an extention or buy one.
Satisfied with my purchase. I use it a lot when walking and when going to the park. No problem when I'm pushing on the grass. My baby can be comfortable when he falls asleep because it reclines really well. And I love the big basket underneath the stroller. There is only one thing the tray is a bit high that one time my son hit his mouth on it when I was going on a uneven grass.
I bought this stroller to use while I take care of my granddaughter. I have her 4 days a week. I live on gravel roads and this stroller gives her a smoother ride than the 'umbrella' type stroller I tried first. It's still a bit bumpy of course, but she enjoys riding along anyway! She is 5 months, and starting to sit upright much better in the stroller, too. It seems like it will be very durable, and although I don't fold it up everyday, the mechanism that releases to allow folding is very easy and well designed. This is a great stroller at this price point, in my opinion! Oh, and I also like that the handle is taller. I'm 5'9",and I don't have to hunch over to push it.
I love this stroller. It was easy to set up, took only half an hour at the most. I'm tall, 5'11, and I was worried I'd be hunched over, but the stroller is tall enough to where I can stand normally. Its very light and menuevers very well! Its small enough to where you can use it as a regular stroller and take it into stores. My three week old is comfortable and enjoys the smooth ride. Im so glad I got this stroller!
This product is very light weight and strolls well. The only problem I have had is making sure the stroller is locked in tightly before using. Also, the stroller doesn't absorb bumps very well, which for a child is okay, but a little to bumpy for an infant. Otherwise, we have enjoyed having the stroller.
I bought this for my 18 month old (20 lb). It was super easy to put together and really good quality, but, when I put her in it, with the back support in the upright position, she's too tall for it!! Her head rests on the metal bar! I was really frustrated because she's not espically tall for her age, and on the box it says it's for up to 40 lbs. So, I am returning it. It would be a great product if it was made with room for your child to grow!
