I give this product high marks for features and appearance but I find it ridiculous that in this day and age, a smoothie maker cannot be broken down into pieces and run through a dishwasher. I'm sure the materials used were inexpensive and that's the reason why it is hand-wash only, but if I had known this before buying it, I would have paid a little bit more and chosen a dishwasher-safe product.
It didn'tmake smoothies. it just chopped and nothing was small enough to go through the spout
We've gone though more blenders in the last 15 years than I have fingers! This one is one of the worst! It almost immediately cracked on the blade retainer base which is indicative of the poor quality. The tap leaks almost all the time and with the huge size of this thing, you'd think it would grind up an iceberg but it does not!
