Great product for the price!! It is much sturdier than i figured it would be. Directions are not very clear on some steps, but other than that very pleased with purchase. My 4 year old loves it!!!
My husband and I just finished putting this together yesterday. Our neighbor helped with the fort part of it and a few finishing touches. It took about 15 man (woman) hours. A couple of the boards came split/broken but were still usable. It's awesome!! The kids love it (6 and 4)!!
Best advice we read was to lay all the boards out first this helped and saved. A lot of time Everything went smoothly but we noticed that we were missing 3 boards but after close inspection they sent us. 4 h2 and no h3 so we figured out that they stamped 3 of them wrong other than this small hiccup we have no complaints our children love it! In all it took me and my husband about 4 days to complete
The instructions are not build beginner friendly! Took me and my husband two days to put it up! But it looks so good and the girls (2 and 3) really loving it and on it for hours!
I did aLot of research before purchasing this swing set and decided to go with it because it had so many different things. That's my favorite thing about it, several activities to do. The swing set is a lot shorter than I expected, they give dimensions but I had it pictured in my mind to be taller, specifically the beam that the swings are on. Because it's short the swings won't swing all that high. I like that it has monkey bars but it would be nice if there were more than just 3. The fort seems to be the best quality in comparison to the other features. It has to be staked down, just with one of my 40lb kiddo on it made it lift. I would still recommend this because of the wide variety of things to do but the quality is not the best, but it's great for what we need it for with small children. It's recommended fir kids 3-10yrs and that seems fairly adequate. Assembly took my husband about 11 hours by himself.
Took a about 16 hours to put together, keep the parts organized by step it makes it go quicker. Missing a few parts, but had all the vital ones to put it together. The seat and table on the picnic table not very sturdy. Going to buy some more wood to secure it better. Good quality for the price.
I ordered this for my son's Christmas gift. He absolutely loves it. The set up wasn't too bad once you have the pieces organized. However, a couple pieces of the wood came in splintered or cracked. Overall a great product. Anything that makes my son happy, makes me happy as well.
This product is great for my 2 year old.... The instruction manual was not very user friendly during the set up process..... there were pictures and instructions but they were not very clear as to where the hardware went into the boards or which ones went where when you had to use more than one type of bolt or screw. There was also no way to tell which way the boards went when they had many different sets of holes in them
So after reading reviews I expected a horror story setting this up. Actually writing this review 30 minutes after finishing. Overall all not bad took 7 hrs on day 1 and 4hrs day 2. Set it up for a Christmas gift for my daughters. There were 2 to 3 steps that the diagram was not helpful at all and you needed to study the step for a bit. No parts were missing, actually had extra hardware. Piece of advice separate all the wood pieces and make sure the part # is identifiable. Otherwise mark i t with a pencil or pen. Only a few needed it. Did actually have to run to the hardware store because I didn't like the way a few of the lag screws fit and didn't want to split the wood. Listen this is a big swing set and IT'S WOOD. Not every piece is pristine. So have reasonable expectations about set up time. 2 guys set this up with power tools and took almost 12 hrs. The result far outways the set up pains. And there will be. Trust me. But I imagine that the kids with love the fruits of Ur labor. Honestly It'll pry be harder hiding this from my girls for a week than it was setting it up. Christmas is now 6 days away. Enjoy
Came way before promised and was set up in a day with help from a friend for a few hours. Laid all pieces out before construction, which made it so much easier. The boards on the toy box might need some reinforcement soon, but everything else seems great.
