We bought this table for the birth of our first child. We were looking for something that didn't break the bank but that would hold up to the task of diaper changing. I had no problems assembling it and my son is now 17 months old and is expecting a sibling in the next couple of weeks. So before we can use the toy box as a toy box I guess we'll just keep changing diapers. It's been a great table for us and we have used it often.
I received this changer for a shower gift and it is beautiful. The shelves are not super sturdy but once we got it all put together it is very stable. All the parts where included so that was a plus too.
Was put together in about 20 minutes. The large drawer, on casters, is handy for extra diapers, lotions, wipes, and powder. The color is a great match for the rochester natural baby crib.
This is a great changing table. One of the few items we have purchased lately that needed to be assembled that we had all the parts and easy to follow instructions. The storeage is a plus too.
We received this as a shower gift and just wanted to say it is more sturdy than it looks and it was easy to assemble. All of the parts were included - that was a plus.
Just a quick note to let you know how much I like this table. Especially love the catch all under the table. It'll be great when we can store toys and NO MORE DIAPERS. It was easy to assemble and has lasted throughout the whole diaper process (2 years now). We are in potty training mode now and will soon be done with the table but it worked out well for us.
I couldn't bring myself to purchase a huge, expensive changing table. I actually find them to be a waste of money. Put this together by myself at 8 months pregnant. It looks great in the nursery and matches perfectly with the crib and dresser I got in the natural finish (different brands). I put two baskets on the shelf and am storing blankets in the bottom chest. It's not high quality (you can tell when looking at the joints on the inside), but no one will see that. From the outside it looks great, and for the price, I can't complain.
I was a little worried how sturdy this table would be based on the price, but it was sturdier than I expected. So far I am happy with it.
I looked at many changing tables for my newborn both in store and online. I decided that the design of the badger basket was what I was looking for; practical with the stow away box but elegant enough as a regular piece of furniture. How wrong was I!!! Firstly the materials were extremely poor. The pre-made pieces look liked they were glued together by a 10 year old and the wood was splintered in two places. The wood itself is ugly, looks cheap and does not look like the nice piece of furniture I was hoping for. Construction was fine except the box base was warped and the brass eyelet threads in four cases were poorly machined resulting in incorrect screwing. The plus side was that badger basket replaced those items within a week. I would not recommned this table to anyone. Compared to the Storkcraft Aspen furniture we have (crib/armoire) this was a joke. Should have stuck with Storkcraft.
I have had to reinforce this in six places- and it is still not sturdy enough. I need to buy more metal brackets so it doesn't break before one year.
