This Moses Badger Basket, is the 3rd one I have purchased for a baby shower.I fill it with small baby shower gifts and items and is a big hit at all the Baby Showers! It is made so durable and sturdy and the lining in the basket and mattress are beautiful and made of quality materials! I just love this Basket! It can be used to carry a newborn in and later can be used to leave stuffed animals in it store other items in it from the baby's room! Thank you Hayneedle!
I was looking for a basket for my daughter to carry around her baby doll in. I came across this and thought it would be perfect. It IS absolutely gorgeous and well made! Unfortunately, I didnt read the size of it which is 3ft long! This bed is taller than my daughter! Oops! Would be a gorgeous bed on a trip to grandma's house or to put baby down for a nap.
Good for Newborns. Later it will serve for Babies toys. Do not rely on the two handles. This is for 2nd. Baby
I actually purchase this for my dog, she is a miniature min pin, she took right to it and seems to like it a lot..
The basket fitted well in the play pen. We will place it next our bed until the baby can be moved to the crib. Depending on the size of my baby (due in 2 months), he can probably sleep there for 4-5 months. I also can see myself carrying him in this basked around the house. Once he outgrows it, I can use the basket to store his little things :) The color (tan = beige like) matched the description very well. It comes with a little cushion + cover, and a little sheet. I do not think that anything is of poor quality, but I will probably wash the sheet by hand. This is so light and not big deal for me. All things considered, best less than 30 bucks purchase so far.
Purchased this a the basket portion of a gift basket for a baby shower. I think it will be useful for the mom to be. I wished it had the top for it. Next time I will make sure to read the description closer.
This basket is surprisingly big & roomy which is nice but the lining is a big disappointment. It isn't a true pink gingham & looks cheap. If you have time & money to replace it I would recommend it. For the price this item is good & will be useful for storing baby items later on after she outgrows it. Overall I can't say I was impressed but it will do the job I want it to at the right price.
Make sure you rise the whole basket under water to get the dust and dirt off of it. Like any basket product it is dusty. The mattress is thinner than when I bought them 5 years ago. Other than that, it is still a good product.
The quality of the basket was satisfactory. However, the liner and sheet were not. Again, however, this is okay because I intended to make my own liner, sheet and ties by using the included ones as a pattern. The basket is for an expected (in Feb) granddaughter.
I knew that for $29.99 the basket would not be a work of art, but I was very disappointed in the quality. It was much floppier than I thought it would be, and there were several places where it was coming apart. The liner was quite thin and didn't fit very well, but if the basket had been of better quality I would have made do with the liner. All in all, it was a big disappointment, and I sent it back.
