Wonderful healthy addition to doups, salad and main courses
Saw it on the shelf in the baking aisle and it was an impulse buy. Wanted to see what the hemp movement is all about. I have used them in baking primarily. Sprinkle in about 2 tbls into sifted unbleached flour then added yeast etc and baked. Very good earthy flavored. Sprinkled onto salads and soups. Nice neutral earthy flavor again with the consistency of sunflower seed that are dehulled. Can be added to most anything. Don't know how truthful the health claims are, but I will find out at my next blood draw. Supposed to be as good or better than fish oil etc. Try it, you may like it.
We were buying this in the store, but had to do an online order because they were always out of stock. We use it in protein shakes. It has a much better consistency than chia seeds. We also like to add it to peanut butter.

Have used shelled hemp hearts for a while now. This product was a better price so I will try it to see how it compares.
Fresh, still moist hemp seeds are excellent nutrition. Great price.
This product helps me have a healthy heart. I give some to my dog. It stopped her from licking her feet. Good stuff.
I am a vegetarian and Badia hemp seeds are packed with protein (pulse no animal fat or cholesterol.) One container lasts a month. Compare that to the price of meat for a month! I get protein from other sources but hemp seeds are my main supply. Also a very easy way to add a nutty flavor to breakfast food, salads, yogurt.
like pine / nuts texture no strong flavor really i just put them in yogurt or eat plain like cashews
Great to see Hemp seeds offered! Sorry the controversy over marijuana may be contributing to the high price on Hemp seeds. I believe all of the so-called ancient grains and ancient seeds should be very low price. I am wondering how much the pricing has to do with popularity and also the public being unaware of the benefits offered by ancient grains.
