I bought the last bag my location had two years ago. I have to admit they were only 9.99, so it's gone up a little in price, but they are made of sturdy plastic, which is really good for my use: I cut the backs of the bones open and inserted white Christmas lights into them so that they appeared to glow at night. They held up very well--for Halloween 2011, we got 20" of snow! I have since moved across country and they survived the move, due to being made of very hard, rigid plastic. I was hoping to buy another bag this year, but my new Walmart had an extremely small Halloween section. I am now ordering more online. As an avid Halloween decoration collector and decorator, I would definitely recommend this set.
I was expecting bigger bones, about twice as big. However, we used them in our haunt anyway. They look just fine, except they are the size of a child, which is creepy in it's self. We'll buy the adult version next year.
I'm having Halloween party for my kids, the bag of bones will be great for the scavenger/treasure hunt game.
Bones are realistic but there was no variety of bones, two feet, head and the rest are long, straight bones, does not/cannot make a body with these bones
this is not a regular bag of bones it was like a baby skeleton I actually made a windchime out of them instead of using them for the props it was bought for. waste of money
i just got these bones. first of all, i got one foot and some pathetic bones. no hands no other foot no nothing. and they're small. the skull is the size of maybe a dog skull and the bones are thin and small like the size of my three year olds bones. i am including a pic. the other skull behind it is a skull from the dollar tree just to show ya how small these things are.
These are tiny. They say "life size" on the tag, but I'm not sure what lifeform these are being compared to? If they weren't needed urgently to decorate for a contest at work, I would return them.
Returned this product. VERY small, the head looks like a small dog skull and most of the bones are what are considered the long bones of the body and are so small they look like twigs. I purchased better quality a few years ago. Save your money.
The bones were about 10" long and very thin. The skull was even smaller than a newborn's head. These bones do not go in a yard.
Not a complete bones set...A skull, one hand, one foot, and some long bones. I guess if you're just scattering it out around your yard, it's fine, but I wanted to lay it out all together on the ground. Skull very small...I'm very disappointed. Not worth 13 dollars.
