I highly recommend this gate. It as easy to install following the directions, even by myself. I do admit an extra set of hands would have been helpful in trying to level it but I just eyeballed it, made some adjustments a couple of times and that was close enough. Besides being sturdy it looks sharp, opens easily and the walk through feature is terrific. I do leave a night light on so I do not trip over the bottom bar (which sits on the floor) when getting up in the middle of the night. I looked at a lot of gates and read a lot of reviews before choosing this one. I have no regrets. In fact, I'm thinking of getting a second to replace the old wooden accordion gate I have on another doorway.
