Looks more expensive than it is. Very happy to use in my bathroom that does not cabinets. Very happy with purchase. It is exactly what it looks like on-line.
I bought this item because I needed some furniture in my half bath and this item is doing its job. I had a hard time putting it together but with help I managed.
This was very easy to put together. It only took a few minutes. It is very sturdy and just the right size to fit in my bathroom. The door didn't fit exactly to the magnet. It was a little difficult to get the hinges adjusted so it fit exactly flush but it looks fine.
Attractive, easy assembly, less than an hour if you follow instructions. I use it to house TV components in my bedroom. I drilled through the back to allow wiring to pass through. No problem.
I love this sturdy cabinet and wood, bought it to match an over the toilet matching space saver I had from same company ( no issues with that). But there were issues: 1. Don't tighten the screws too tight or you'll strip the wood it goes into. I did this on the hinges, now I'll have to add glue on two of the screws. 2. The back panel has holes to screw the back set inside this recessed part on cabinet, yet there were NO holes to screw them into on the recessed part( see pic). I even checked to see if I had assembled it wrong, but I didn't...there are no holes!!!! Now I have to drill them myself! 3. The gap Under the bottom of the drawer is way larger than it should be. Thank goodness when the back is and the inside cabinet is dark, this doesn't show as much. 4. You can see from one of my pics that I have the door on straight...you can see the space on the right and left and the top is very even. Yet I have to slam the door shut because you can see the left side of the bottom door is too tight. Now I'm going to have to sand that corner. I shouldn't have to do that! 5. I expected the glass on door to match the same collection space saver, which is BUMPY frosted glass, but this cabinet has SMOOTH frosted glass. It should have matched the other collection pieces 6. Even though this cabinet is pretty pricey for a small bathroom cabinet, there are no filler " buttons" to fill the big holes from screws. There are 8 of these holes on each OUTSIDE side of the cabinet. I was surprised they left this so unfinished. I thought maybe they forgot them, but finishing buttons aren't listed in the instruction parts. Look at the Walmart pic, you can see the holes I'm talking about, they show in pic but I never noticed. Cheap not to include!! BTW, just wanted to address a few things in other reviews...there are no " cams", it's all screws, which I find preferable. Also, someone mentioned the finish was " rough" ...I don't know what cabinet he hit but it's nice wood, smooth nice finish, just like my matching space saver. Pieces are very solid, nothing broke or missing in box. Someone mentioned the handles looked cheap or something, but I feel they're fine and match the feel of the cabinet perfectly ( contemporary and simple) Disappointing that it had so many quality issues. Cabinet still looks great, expensive and fits my needs so I will keep it. Hope this review helps someone!!
Our cabinet came with no assembly instructions or diagram. Thankfully my husband is very handy when it comes to putting things together and he managed to fugure it out. However, he did have to make some modifications; shaving off some of the wood to get the back piece to fit, and file one of the legs to keep the cabinet from wobbling. I really like the wood grain and it looks great in our bathroom.
The cabinet is good for its value. The back wall did not fit right - had a slight cut out of it and was probably l/8 inch too large - so we could not fasten it on to the unit on the bottom and over time may start to bend a bit because of it.
I ordered two of these cabinets. On the first one I put together, one of the cam locks would not work properly, and after many attempts to make it work, it broke. Not sure if that is why the door isn't properly lined up or not. The second one had more issues. The back panel needed to have some nipped off in order for it to fit, and had the same issue with one of the cam locks. Also, part of the instructions for door assembly are left out. The bamboo itself is quality, and the cabinet has a nice look to it, which is why I gave it 2 stars. We don't plan on having heavy usage of these, so I will keep them (after all that work putting them together:)!
Received this item and there were broken pieces. Not like from the shipping but from Walmart. When the wood was attached together it was broken.
Screwing in one screw split the bamboo case. The cabinet once assembled was not even on its feet so rocked. The finish was coarse, not sanded. I would not purchase this product again or advise anyone to!
