I like this stuff. It goes on thick, it's easy to apply and seems pretty effective. We are in SW Florida, so sunscreen is a must. For boat/beach days, I lathered up the little one before we leave the house, then we are out for several hours and he comes back very slightly browned. The boat has a shade cover and we bring a pop-up tent to the beach, which he stays under, and he is also in an SPF shirt, shorts and hat. I'm buying it again, but after eight applications I'm just about out, so for the price, it's like $1 a beach day. I highly recommend a 10 x 10 EZ Up pop-up shade tent for beach days as a precaution - they are like $70, easy to setup and totally worth it for everyone - on the first day.
