I have always use this tanning oils, adds that extra later of darkens and last on your skin. Always use with caution and don't stay too long in the sun where you can hurt your skin. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Smells like bananas but other than that it does the job while also moisturizing
I love the smell and will use it as a summer perfume. Not suggested nor will it have enough SPF to prevent burning. It's been hot, but very few days that our area is not smog-covered orange or raining. My tan is doing as well as my garden and that is sad.
It seems to really enrich a good base tan. It gives a nice, even brownish glow. like most of these lower uv products it a little greasy but lasts a long time.
Interestingly enough, my last review was not posted. I picked up banana boat at my local drugstore because i was out of my last bottle of my other brand. Thinking nothing of it and NOT having sensitive skin, i picked up banana boat spray oil, a reputable brand. Or so I thought, until I broke out in a horrible rash that lasted three months. I have never broken out from any skincare in the past. A fun first! The rash was raised, itchy, red, flakey bumps - an allergic reaction in the form of atopic dermatitis. They began to resemble ringworm after the scabs worsened. The best part? They left my skin extremely discolored. What I bought to tan my skin has turned my skin into a two-toned mess. Where every bump was is now a white patch, resembling a skin disease. A multitude of other reviews mention rashes, and have for years. Clearly, banana boat has zero regard for the health and well being of their customers, proven by the fact this product swimming with chemicals is still being sold. AVOID THIS PRODUCT LIKE THE PLAGUE.
I have used Banana Boat for years. I had the yellow top SPF 15 oil. I recently purchased a new bottle of SPF 15 with the blue top. I broke out in a rash all over my chest back and arms after using it. At the time I didn't realize it was the oil so I used it a 2nd time a month later and the same thing happened. Not sure what has changed in the new formula but it seems that I am not the only person who has had this issue. I would really like to know what has been added to the new formula so I can avoid it in the future.
I bought this a few weeks ago. I developed a rash, the rash turned into blisters. Well the rash is an actual chemical but per my doctor. I'm now on antibiotics and using topical cream. The blisters popped into open wounds and most likely will have scaring for awhile if not forever. I have little dots over my body that if exposed to heat they form into blisters, main area is my chest. My cousin used this same oil and she developed the burns all over her stomach and legs. Currently seeking legal counsel. Obviously there is something not right with this formula as others have complained of the same exact "rash". Pictures attached are the progression of the chemical burn which I still have.
First time I have tried a tanning oil in the 15 SPF range, I have never had any skin issues prior to using this particular product. I had a pretty sever allergic reactions to the areas I applied the product which then pushed the reaction onto the rest of my entire body. I saw multiple people make the same claim on another review site, I thought it would be good to let others know there may be some ingredients in this product that are not in the other Banana boat products.
I cannot recommend this product. I applied this ONLY to my arms, shoulders and upper back from a strapless blouse I had on Sunday afternoon on 7/19. I sat outside with friends for just two hours yesterday. In the span of 24 hours I've developed a red rash with small bumps ALL over my body. My skin is splotchy, itchy all over, and warm to the touch. Despite having applied the oil to my upper half, this rash has spread all over me and down to my knees!! I don't think I'll ever try Banana Boat products again, I have no clue how long this will last.
