Finally, a sunscreen that doesn't make you feel oily and disgusting. Since the product is immediately dry upon application, things like dirt, grass and sand don't stick to you and you don't stick to anything else. The kids can have it on and go in the car or the house and I don't have to worry about them leaving greasy marks everywhere they sit. Product works great and as a bonus it smells like cotton candy!
I've been using this product for about two years and its the only sunscreen that I can use on a daily basis without smelling like I just came from the beach. I've tried many other sunscreens from other brands and the lingering smell of sunscreen is always there, but not with this product which I love. Don't get me wrong the smell of sunscreen brings great memories of summer but I appreciate that I can use this product any time of year without getting comments that i smell like sunscreen. In fact people now compliment how nice I smell! I also love how its a matte finish so I don't look super shiny or greased up. Great sun protection, no complaints. The main reason I keep using this product is because I'll be protected from the sun any time of year without smelling like the beach. I stock up each summer since I cant seem to find it in stores any time of year. I dont know what I'd do if this product was discontinued I love it!!
Love the smell and didn't get burnt at all! I am a fair skinned redhead that burns easily. I applied it every 2-3 hours like I was told by my dermatologist. Used it on all three of my kids and it worked great! Definitely recommend it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Used this at the beach and reapplied two times. I got a terrible burn on the area's I applied it to.
I bought this sunscreen because one of my daughters doesn't like how most sunscreens smell. This one has a nice smell but is ineffective as a sunscreen. We spent a few late afternoon hours at a pool and my fair-skinned children and husband all ended up burnt.
I bought for the scent and non-oily idea. The first time I used this on my daughter she got burnt. My husband tried it and was burnt in under an hour. I tried it on myself and another child this week with the same result. I've used many sunscreens and this is by far the worst (hence the time to write this review). I even added some liquid Coppertone on the tips of my shoulders just in case and the transitions after less than an hour were obvious.
I used this sunscreen while on holiday in Florida, was on the beach for 5 hours, applied before beach and after 2 hours. Very sore burn't skin. Do not trust.
Got a terrible burn on a cloudy windy day. Deep burn with blisters.
I purchased this sunblock during a road trip because this product is supposed to have a dry feeling finish. It did have a dry finish and worked fine until I washed the clothes that I wore while this sunblock was applied. Multiple garments became stained orange where the fabric rubbed against the areas of skin that had this product applied. After reading how to remove these stains and multiple washes using several cleaning techniques I was unable to remove the stains. The result is I am not able to wear the orange stained clothes anymore. I have included a photo as an example. The shorts in the photo have been washed around 10 times. I have read that the chemical in sunblocks that stains is Avobenzone. Another brand I use that does NOT stain has the same active ingredients including Avobenzone. So in my instance this is not the issue. The cause would have to be one of the inactive ingredients. Or parabens which my other product does not have.
This sunscreen does not work. I followed the directions to a T and still got burnt.
