Feels light but great protection. Wish it weren't so difficult to find.
My country is always hot, especially in the summer, so I tried to find some good sunscreen to protect my skin, and I found this brand, which is really good. Banana Boat Sunscreen (Light as Air) typically contains active ingredients that provide broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays. It's also oil-free, and there are no parabens or SLS. I have sensitive skin, and when I apply it to my skin, it turns out that I don't get any allergies. so it's suitable for sensitive skin. I am a guy who really detests sunscreens, and I have for years. I never thought I would find a sunscreen that wouldn't immediately make me want to take a shower. In the spring of 2023, I discovered Light As Air by Banana Boat, and I am truly shocked at how good this stuff is. It rubs on and dries very fast, leaves not white cast on my skin, isn't greasy at all. It's so good that I can't believe it works, but I have been exposed to sunlight several times for long periods on days I used this stuff, and it works! In fact, yesterday I attended an outdoor concert and put some on and when I got home I was so tired I hopped into bed and didn't even shower. And my skin didn't feel gross and my sheets aren't a sticky mess. This BY FAR the best sunscreen I have ever used. There is only one thing I would change: I would add different scents. It smells a bit like candy or maybe baby aspirin or something. But I'd prefer a more grown-up scent.

It is in fact non greasy and it absorbs quickly into the skin. We have yet to get a sunburn. The smell is also amazing and doesn't smell like chemicals like other products. The 6 oz bottle is also a good amount. The quality is amazing. I will only use Banana Boat Light as Air from now on. I highly recommend!

This has officially became my new favorite sunblock, it rubs in clearly and isn't greasy at all so it doesn't leave the skin feeling sticky or slimy after applying it, it honestly does feel light as air. It provides protection while in water so it's safe for pool use or unwanted related activities like hiking. It's a higher level of fifty plus UVA/ UVB protection which is really good and it shows. My children are burn free from playing outdoors and I'm sunburn free from my everyday runs. I'd say Banana Boat wins the sunblock race for sure, I'll continue purchasing this and I'm glad I got it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Banana Boat - Light As Air Lotion is true to its name. When applying it I was expecting to feel a heavy gunky feel. In all reality I felt like I was putting on lotion. I usually have to fight my 4 year old on putting on sunscreen, but she is so excited to pur this one on. Super happy with the design of the bottle. It was easy to squeeze. The smell wasn't overpowering. This is one of those sunscreens that I see myself using year around when we are out in the sun.
Pros: Inexpensive, not sticky, no white cast, hardly any smell (you have to get right against your skin to smell it) Cons: If you eczema and you apply to an already flared up area, it might burn for ~30 seconds When you put on the proper amount there is a BIG white cast, but if you let it sit for a few seconds it settles & completely disappears if you rub it in after. This was great on my arms and legs, but if you are going for EVERY DAY WEAR and have ECZEMA: buy a more skin sensitive sunscreen for your face/neck area.
A friend gifted me this sunscreen and I like that it blends easily and leaves no white cast. I have brown African skin. However, this product stings on application for a little over 2 minutes and this scares me as I don't know if this product is hurting my skin barrier
I recently purchased this for a trip to the beach because of its claims to be water resistant and non greasy. The texture and feel of this product is incredible, I haven't experience anything like it. My only issue is it did not preform the way I thought it should. I stay at the beach for maybe 3 hours and reapplied the sunscreen every hour because I was in the water. Each time I would get out, towel off and apply. I waited around 10-15 mins before getting back into the water. When I got home I noticed my skin was burnt. (My face was fine, I used a different sunscreen.) I think this product would be alright if you do not do any water activities. I will test it just going outside and update my review if it preforms any differently.
