I just "downsized" for what I think will be the last time in my life, moved into the last place I'll ever live, (California Vereran's Home, Redding California) and stored everything that I could not bring with me but could not part with. I have everything neatly labled and in an order that I would most likely need, to be able to find what I'm looking for. I know for certain that the boxes will last longer thanI probably will, and when I depart for that "Great Storage Space In The Sky" my surviving children will be able to deal with what I leave behind easily.
I have used these for decades. Assembling them is fun! They last a long time. Eventually, they will begin to crumple, especially if stacked. Remember to keep them off cement or concrete floors. I use parallel two by fours to keep the boxes off the floor. The ink does not run when it gets wet in the rain!
The biggest improvement in this category of storage product is the size/ dimensions of the box. While I could fit more files in the previous version my office used, the result was often unwieldy for carrying comfortably, and too heavy for the average secretary to transport without undue exertion. The construction, and stack-ability are just icing on the cake.
One of my daughters was able to pack for moving, a very large amount of items that had been stored in my house. These boxes were ideal for that purpose. She was able to then label and load them into the truck and took off for her new home. They arrived safely, nothing was broken or damaged in any way.

I've been purchasing Bankers Box boxes since the mid 1970's. First for work purposes and now for personal use. I love the fact that they are so easy to assemble. They're sturdy if you don't stack them too high and the size I use is easy enough for me to handle and stack. This is a great product that I will continue to use as long as I need bankers boxes.

Quality is very good however I thought they were bigger than they actually were.
Thought boxes were larger but fit well on smaller shelves and not as heavy when packed with papers
I have been using Bankers Box® products for more than 40 years and I have always appreciated the quality. However, I recently purchased several of the new heavy-duty Presto Bankers Boxes and am extremely disappointed. They are not as sturdy as previous heavy-duty Bankers Boxes. They are crooked after assembly. And the slanted handles are more of a nuisance than a help. I appreciate the effort of the Fellows company to continually improve their products, but not all change is progress. I am not happy to surrender sturdiness and simplicity for a slightly quicker assembly and useless slanted handles.
