Banquet really seals the market with this affordable yet most delicious pot pie ever made. The lard really makes the crust standout and is different from every other pot pie brand. A classic can't turn down pot pie. And the turkey is better than the chicken. A bargain at $1.18 each! Worth every penny plus some.
I buy quite a few of these at a time, put them in the freezer. When I have that craving for something, but do not want to cook, I get one, put in microwave, then enjoy. They are not too heavy and will not spoil my appetite. They have enough filling, and the crust on top browns just perfectly. Best price for my snack cravings.
These are good for kids or adults who need a quick meal. One will likely not satisfy your hunger, but a quick side of potatoes or bread and this is a nice warm dinner on a cold night
This is my favorite pot pie. I prefer it over Marie's and the turkey version seems to have the most meat in it compared to the others from Banquet. Idk how people eat multiple of them (per the other reviews) with all the sodium tho. This is one of my favorite lazy/comfort meals. I always use the oven for crispy crust but it's nice to see positive reviews from the microwave as well. I pair this with mac and cheese and it's an awesome filling meal!
These are loaded with calories and they taste really good. When my husband is making one I always think I want to steal some. Smells almost like home cooking. They aren't that expensive either!
The crust gravy and vegetables were all excellent... but sadly like so many processed meals today the meat was CRAP. Tough and chewy... like rubber. Turkey should be tender... like chicken. It would've been better without meat.
Banquet is really stingy with the pot pie fillings! There was barely one tablespoon inside the pot pies I recieved tonight. Instead of raising their price, they should lower it to compensate customers for less fillings.
Absolutely zero vegetables, and the gravy was gray. The pie was tasteless. I used to like these for an easy lunch with a green salad. Never again.
I ordered turkey and received chicken after I said no substitutes. this is not the first time this has happened. I want what I order very disappointing again
