We purchased this slide for my daughter's 3rd birthday. We have used it 4 times so far and it has totally exceeded our expectations. The huge pool can easily fit 4 adults with plenty of room to spare. My husband is 295 and he was able to climb up the slide (not the ladder) and slide down. When we used it at the birthday party there were 12 children ranging in age from 11 months to 12 years old playing on it. There are a few downsides: 1.) because of it's enormous size the clean up is time consuming. It does take a few hours to clean it and let it dry before rolling it up. Two people are definitely needed for this process. 2.) The mess it leaves in the yard. The grass dies in the area which the slide was sitting and the yard is flooded when we turn of the blower, these two things were expected though. 3.) The pool is not connected to the climbing wall so we put down a tarp for the kids to walk on to keep mud and grass out of the pool. Even with these minor downsides, we would totally buy it again. I read alot of reviews before we purchased this one and some people spoke of dry rotting, but hopefully we dried ours enough to keep this from happening.
For my daughter's first birthday, I wanted the kids to have something to keep them busy. This slide definitely came in handy for that. I called the local places up to rent one and they want 250 dollars a day. So if you buy this and get 2 uses, your already getting your money's worth. Great buy and a great slide. Was also surprisingly easy to put away after we were done. Definitely make sure it is completely dry before you put it away.
it just arrived yesterday in time for the hot weather, set up was very easy, this is replacing a little tykes water slide that lasted about 3 years, so far so good, the pool is huge, took a long time to fill of course but this appears to be of better quality and more durable for older children, the netting at the top is somewhat confining, my son kept hitting his head on it, my only other beef is that they have to get out of the pool to climb to the slide, not aware of that and the little tykes was not like that, but we'll deal with it, overall it made for an awesome hot day in Michigan.
We have had two other water slides, one a Banzai and another brand. The other Banzai was great but is now rotted so we bought an off brand one and hate it. This one is WONDERFUL. My children absolutely love it. When they go around the corner they have so much fun. The water pool at the bottom is great as my daughter can actually swim in it!!! My oldest is 53" tall and weighs 82 lbs and this is great for her too. My husband is 6'3" tall and this water slide towers over him. I posted a photo of him walking by it so you can see how tall this slide is.
I bought this slide two weeks ago and just put it up memorial weekend and loved it! My 4 year old loved it!! The pool area is big enough for three adults to sit in it and relax. I did not fill it up all the way because I knew I had to keep the water on for the slide. It is a lot bigger than I expected especially the pool. I would recommend it to anyone with little kids. I also have a set of two years old twins and my daughter was able to climb the slide. The only downfall was having to get out of the pool to get to the slide. What I did was used an old kiddie pool that I had from before, for them to step in, to remove the grass from their feet before they got on the slide. That idea worked great. It is a lot of work to drain, dry and wrapped up the slide afterward, but it is truly worth it!!
We purchased this a few months ago online and did site to store free shipping. It took about a week to come in. WE just LOVE it!!!!! The only down side is the draining of the pool and the drying and storing process however this is nothing compared to the fun we have in it. Not to mention it's very little maintenance compared to an above ground pool which was what we had intended on buying but changed our mind and purchased this instead and we have no regrets except for that we didn't purchase it sooner! The picture does not do it justice. This thing is huge and is perfect for our 5 and 3 year old girls. My husband and I also enjoy it very much. The pool area is large enough for all of us to be in it at the same time with plenty of playing room left. (I'm 5'8" and my husband is 6'3" tall) My husband and I enjoy the slide as well! You do have to keep the slide wet to slide and you do have to run the air blower for the entire time of use for both the slide and pool. The pool area holds a lot of water if you fill it up all the way. It's a great way for my hubby and I to stay cool while the kids have a blast playing outside! We do not have anything stating there is an extended warranty outside of Walmart's 90 day warranty but it did come with several patch kits if needed. I'll be happy if we can get two summers out of it and if you use it properly and store it DRY you should get at least that! This product appears and has proven to be durable and of good quality.
We got this for a party that included young children. The kids 4-10 years old loved it. The 2-3 year olds were afraid of going down the slide, but played for hours in the pool part. It seems well enough made for kids up to 125 lbs. It claims that 180lbs is the weight limit per person, but that seems a bit much. It takes about 1 hour to fill the pool with water, even with 2 garden hoses runing full blast, and it must have at least 8" of water in it before you can use the slide. There is a chamber at the bottom of the slide that needs that much water to create a cushion. This is like a shock absorber at the bottom and is a nice improvement over their orginal slide that had an air chamber. Also you must keep the blower running all the time because once it shuts off the pool sides deflate and most of the water comes out. It dried out pretty quick because this design lets less water get inside the air chambers. We only used it once so far and the kids used it nonstop for 7 hours without any problems. It will be going nonstop again this 4th of July, I'll update then.
after researching and reading reviews on inflatable slides I chose this slide because I knew walmart would back their product.my grand kids are 2 and 4 perfect slide for them the picture is true to form it is lhuge.the slide was a birthday present, and we used it for their party it was a hit.
This was a lot of fun for all of my children and nephews!! It was very easy to set up and looked just like I thought it would. The slide works much better for smaller riders but I was even able to take my baby down it without it collapsing...I guess that says it all!! Hopefully this slide will provide our family with a whole lot more fun for this and many summers to come!!
So far so good....the reviews were very helpful and we found everything to be true to what the consumers had to say....do have a small hole in a seam but doesn't seem to be getting larger...doesn't affect the water slide or air coming out. Not anticipating years of wear but it will be fun while it lasts!
