It tastes amazing on toasted ciabatta bread with fresh mozzarella and tomato too. Super versatile ingredients and this rustic basil pesto levels up basically any dish.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm always looking for ways to introduce my kids to new flavors. We've been using this pesto to make individual pizzas on pita bread. I just add cherry tomatoes, a splash of extra virgin olive oil, mozzarella, and parmesan. My toddlers love it and eat it up! I enjoy it too and am so grateful that my kids are trying something new!

I honestly would believe that this was homemade! My other issue with most premade pesto is that it is too big and spoils before I use it; this is a great size and great price. It's nice to have a jar ready to go; I've used it with a small amount of pasta and some leftover rotisserie chicken to make a quick dinner, and it was an absolutely divine addition to my mozzarella/bruschetta!! I drizzled some across the top and it gave so much flavor! I am definitely going to keep a jar on hand for last minute meals.

This stuff can be used on so many things to enhance the flavor. I simply added it on top of a piece of sour dough bread and ate it like a snack, but I am sure ir would be wonderful in pasta!

I used it to make an amazing chicken pesto pasta for my family dinner. I loved that the jar was a little bigger than most pestos so there was enough pesto to coat all of the pasta without having to buy a second jar. The flavour is perfectly balanced and not too overpowering. I would definitely buy it in replace if the brand that I usually purchase.

The basil and garlic are perfectly balanced with a hint of lemony brightness. My family typically enjoys eating this with pasta or on sandwiches. It also makes a great dip for bread or veggies. I would recommend and will be repurchasing this pesto sauce.

I like that the pesto came in a jar and that I could put it in the fridge for later use. I tried some on pasta before eating it with red sauce. It's a fresh, pretty green! Like I said before, I'm not a big herb person. That was the only reason it got 4 stars. If you enjoy pesto, this is as close to home made as you will get.
Just awful. Normally I make homemade. basil plant not mature enough yet so tried this stuff. uggh! who ever heard of spinach, potato flakes or milk and eggs in pesto? PESTO: fresh basil leaves, pine nuts, garlic, s/p, olive oil and romano. THATS IT. you ruined store bought pesto for me forever
This is the second time I have purchased a 'Pesto Sauce' from Walmart that was absolutely terrible and ruined my dish. I did everything I could to 'rescue' it, however it wasted a pound of good pasta, and almost an entire carton of Parmesan Cheese to try to improve the flavor. None of that helped, all of those items were wasted, and I cannot afford to waste or throw away food! Pesto Pasta is one of the Easiest dishes to make! Other Pesto sauces I have had are wonderful, not the two I purchased at Walmart. Please, please, read the ingredients! Spinach? Cashews? Pecorino Romano and not one speck of Parmesan (which, incidentally, is more expensive than Pecorino Romano, and also has a very different taste!). No preservatives were listed on the label, however, there was a strong flavor of Citric Acid, which I feel certain also affected the taste. I cannot recommend this product!
This stuff is just horrible. I should've known better than to buy a jarred sauce. The Rana pesto sauce was unavailable. This stuff didn't even taste like pesto. And it tasted years old. Don't waste your money.
