I just picked this up yesterday at the site to store. The assembly was very easy. I am due anyday and I was able to put this together all by myself with no problems. My husband was even impressed. The quality of this is amazing. This piece of furniture is solid and looks very classy. I would recommend this piece to anyone. I am very happy with it and cannot wait to show off my babies room to everyone!
Had troubles with assembly, when using the allen wrentch the screw inlets in the furnature were assembled to far in the wood. So the screws would not tighten. We had to drill into the screw hole to make it bigger so it would tighten. We had to do that about 5 times. Extra steps that should not be needed. I love it now that it is set up.
The product was easy to assemble for the first half of the project, but once you have to screw the sides of the dresser together--comes the nightmare. The screws were too short to reach the other piece and it tooks hours of shaving down the predrilled holes to make it workable to assemble. Your hands blister and ache from the effort to correct the poor craftsmenship. We even went to the hardware store and purchased 3 other types of screws in an attempt to replace the "Allen bolts", but none worked. What should have been a 90 minute project lasted all day. Plus, the instructions for assembly leave off adding the back piece of the furniture. We saw it before and adjusted, but anyone "following" the directions would have to TAKE APART their assembled pieces to fit in the back of the dresser left out. Lastly, the rails for the drawers come preassembled, but also crooked! So you have to remeasure to find out what is "off" and make a decision as to what side to adjust, and then cross your fingers and hope you aren't drilling more crooked holes into the piece to fix the problem. The company that manufactures the piece is called Simplicty...that was ironic.
