This game is outstanding. One of the best games I have. It is demanding when it comes to computer graphics and CPU speed. My computer which is a Dell Inspiron 1520 and has nVidia 8600M GT graphics card handles it perfectly. I like how this game also incorporates ranking and awards given from how well and how long you play online as well as unlocks. It gives the player goals to reach, instead of just playing the game just to play.
not new anymore but still stands its ground in terms of gameplay.is also a good way to benchmark your computers capabilitys: if it plays fast, newer games will run similary. the multiplayer component is the best out there, no limit to # of other players to break teeth on.
This is a great game for only the 10 bucks i paid for it. Great multi player online. Note if running on a laptop the game must run at a 60 hertz refresh rate. If your monitor doesnt support 60 hertz as is the case with a lot of laptops (like mine) you either have to run it on a monitor that can do 60hz or go into a file stored in My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\Default called video.con and edit the file from saying 60hz to whatever hz your laptop or monitor runs at. This is the only bug that ive really found with this game. Not sure why they dont fix it. So if your bf2 game doesnt load and crashes to desktop check out your monitor refresh rate. Other then that great game for $10
Had to get a second so my nephew could play Project Reality Mod BF2 with me. This is a realistic mod written by a heck of a crew. If you haven't played PR before, download and play it. I had quit playing BF2 a while back. Heard about PR and tried it. It MAKES the game! Best thing out there now. Just google project reality mod and see. Thanks wally whirled fer making it price worthy, without which I would not have bought it.
Hello, about how to install this game: 1. you need a good video card, ATI chip 9600 and up G force 5600 and up as minimum. Runs excellent with a MSI n9600gt PCI express or x1600 ATI AGP 512mb dedicated video ram 2. You need windows XP any vertion to play online, or punk buster will kick u out. 3.download the latest update for this game (patch v.1.4) About the game: This game is extremely addictive, because it is a lot of fun to play with people from all over the world. It is flexible; you can jump, parachute, and get in and out of cars, tanks, choppers, plains and boats and use their gones as well. Do not buy unless you don't have absolutely anything else to do with your life. as I said very addictive.
This is probably the best War game i have ever owned! The Graphics, gameplay, and Audio is awesome! You can drive a whole bunch of vehicles, including aircraft, boats, and tanks. You also get a multitude of weapons in your Arsenel. When I first popped it in my PC and played it, i was amazed! But be aware, this product does not function on windows vista!!
I liked it quite a bit, very happy with it. The graphics are actually not ground-breaking, but they do O.K. As for gameplay, it's not all that realistic, like it takes 5 shots to CRITICALLY WOUND someone. But hey, it's just a game. The amount of hackers are astronomical, but that can be expected in every game. As long as the server that you're playing on is carefully monitered by admins.
This is my first online purchase from walmart.com and i must say I am impressed. I got what I wanted FAST and without any frustration. I got battlefield 2 which is a good game for my laptop and does not require a super computer to play. Walmart did what they were suppose to do, but the only dissapointment to me with BF2 is that online is not that active. usually only 2 or 3 games going at a time, most ive ever seen is 50 people online at a time.
I was able to play single player, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but I wanted to expand onto multiplayer. I wasn't able to play co-op(network) or internet games until I downloaded the patch. It's a great game, but don't expect everything to work out of the box.
Great! graphics if you have a good graphics card, but theres only like 8-10 games to play. To get more game play you would have to play online. If you dont have cable internet this game is no good
